MAMA Pho Bo Instant Beef Soup Bowl Noodle In Vietnamese Style, Silky-smooth, Chewy Rice Noodles With Piping Hot Aromatic Soup Mix (6-Bowl Pack, 2.29 oz Per Bowl)

I don't know what compelled me to buy these as I prefer spicy noodles (these have no spice) and I've never had instant pho that was near as good as a bowl of homemade pho. But I'm glad I tried it because this instant pho is great! It's not "the real thing" but it's incredibly satisfying nonetheless. I think the oil packet really helps give it a quality similar to fresh pho, but it doesn't make the noodles oily, per se. And the amount of noodles is more than adequate. They make for the perfect quick, tasty, and filling lunch.To anyone eating these for the first time, the bowl comes with three things inside, in addition to the rice noodles: a dry seasoning packet, an oil packet, and a disposible fork. Check under the noodles if you don't see all three! The first time I made these the oil packet was under the noodles but I didn't see it and I steeped the noodles along with the sealed oil packet. No harm done but I wish I'd paid better attention because discovering the packet when I didnt know what it was was briefly alarming. In my experience, at least half of the bowls come with either one of the packets or the fork hiding under the noodles so you gotta check.

Love the flavor, love the noodle type and love the price.The closest Asian market is 50 miles (one way) from my home. So even when factoring in shipping it’s more than worth it to buy them from Amazon. Besides, they aren’t always available at the market.I keep these noodle cups in my pantry at all times, so I place an order for them about 3 times a year.I also love that you can control the spice level without sacrificing flavor. There are two flavor packets…one is the broth and seasonings (dry packet) and the other is a the heat (spice) and sesame oil (wet packet). So if you use less of the wet packet it doesn’t effect the over all flavor.

Great instant pho! Don't add water to the line like it says or it will taste weak. Only fill half that much. Don't wait 4 minutes either or you'll have mushy noodles. There's a hint of heat. I'd give 5 stars but there's another brand I like better. I'd recommend trying these though.

Don’t get me wrong. These aren’t definitely not the restaurant quality pho in any way. Imagine these are the cup o noodle version of that. They are instant I mean what more do you expect. However, for what it is, it’s fantastic. The noodles are slightly chewy, the broth has great flavor, the smell could be something that is not for everyone because it has some pungent aromas not common to the American household, and there are chunks of processed meat inside. I added a wedge of lime, some thinly sliced brisket slices and some sriracha and it was amazing! A good snack

Broth is delicious and noodles are perfect texture. Very impressed by this product, and it’s a great pantry staple for when you’re craving pho but don’t have the time to get it
