**Q: Will this work with studio one**
A: Yes.  Studio One, like almost all modern DAW software, allows you to assign "control surfaces" like the MIDImix to screen parameters like faders.

**Q: How well does it work with pro tools?**
A: Hi Martin,AKAI support here! The MIDImix is a "Blank-slate" type of controller, allowing you to map it to any DAW that has some form of MIDI Learn. Unlike almost any other DAW out there, Pro Tools does not have this functionality, aside from some plugins that can be loaded within it, so this unit cannot map to Pro Tools in the state that the software is in right now. **Q: Will this work with sonar platinum?**
A: Should work with anything.
I'm on FLS/Reason.

**Q: Does it feels cheap and plasticish?**
A: yes. it does somewhat.  if this is for home studio use, it is fine, but not sure it is road-worthy.  I would still endorse this product at this price.  I use it all the time.  hope that helps...

bon produit, conforme aux attentes , j'ai tantonné un peu au début pour assigner les touches midi avec le logiciel reaper et Realeanr de helbox , je n'ai pas essayer avec les équivalent et concurents abbleton, fl studio, protools, mais bien reconnu par linux ubuntu studio, je projette d'en acquérir plus pour un studio d'enregistrement maison pas trop onéreux et APC mini de la même marque.
