Want sure what to expect...
Went into this with 0 expectations. Once we got the hang of it, this was actually really fun. My husband, daughter and I played it over Christmas break. We all actually enjoyed it. We also got the book with expansion quests.. haven't used it yet, but I expect it will be fun too.

Great intro to role playing games
My husband and 8yr old daughter loved playing this together, a perfect introduction to role playing games. Husband did all the reading as it was quite lengthy.

Some parts of this game are difficult to navigate, lots of reading and not much game movement

Great starter for story games by not a great example of MLP:ToE
As a pick-a-path adventure game it is a great introduction to story based games, but it is not like any other MLP:ToE adventures, with the other adventures being more free form.
