Better than anything else I’ve tried. I like that you put it on at night. No applicator since solution needs to stay sterile so I use q tips.

I used this back when I was a teenager with bad acne... I would actually put it all over my face (except eye and mouth area) at night and wash it off in the morning and it worked really well. My skin has since cleared up, but I recently purchased it again to put on the occasional blemish I get now. It still works very well. It won't completely get rid of a zit, but it's definitely the best acne treatment I've ever used (and I've tried at least 20 different products). When spot treating, blemishes reduce in size significantly, and when applying it to a whole area (in a very thin layer!), I definitely notice my face isn't as oily. I absolutely recommend trying this product because it really works whether you have bad acne or just get the occasional blemish.

I am not a victim of overspread acne but when I do get pimples, this stuff is really one of my favorite solutions to use. It is too bad that most places do not carry it in their stores anymore. I first found this stuff at a CVS pharmacy about 5 years ago and they quit selling it, so I had to start ordering it online. The only cons I have with this stuff is it is very sensitive to shelf life. If not used frequently, it will go bad over the course of time and you will probably end up buying another one before the bottle is empty because it loses its strength. The other con is even if you wanted to buy a bunch and store them for future use, you're best to only buy two at a time because by the time you get to the third bottle (or more), the solution is much weaker than a brand new bottle purchased recently. Other than that, buy two of them, use it when you can and eventually, your blemishes will go away much faster than using Oxy 10 or some other cream.

This stuff is a godsend. For the last few years I've been plagued by adult acne that's increasingly deep and painful, and lately very discoloring. Benzoyl Peroxide does a good job of keeping most of it at bay but some of the spots that still showed up were very deep, very tender, and usually had to be lanced to relieve the pressure and make it heal faster. Even then oftentimes a discolored lump would linger in the spot for weeks or months afterwards. I'd never heard of this stuff before but decided to give it a try after seeing it on Amazon and having success with other sulfur products.This stuff works great. If I feel a painful lump coming on I start applying this at bedtime, and instead of a painful, pus-filled cyst that turns into a discolored lump that sometimes lasts months I get a flatter, calmer mark that usually stops hurting after two or three days and looks pretty normal in a week or two, sometimes a lot sooner. I don't have to lance and there is no lump or lingering mark. I've also applied it to older, lingering discolored marks and find it dries them out and gets rid of a lot of the color and lumpiness.I have a family history of an allergy to sulfa drugs but this stuff works great for me and has never bothered me. (I've never had a reaction to topical sulfur and have never shown symptoms for the actual allergy though so if you are extremely allergic I don't think this product is for you.) As it's a spot-treatment and won't be covering large areas of the skin it's probably a safe try for even those who can't take sulfur internally, although like all things I'd recommend doing a spot-test in an inconspicuous area and waiting 48 hours to make sure it doesn't give you a reaction before using it.This product has really saved me, no more horrible lumps that are so bad I start to wonder if I'm developing skin cancer. Clear skin is starting to look possible again and I'm definitely buying more when I run out.
