Will this work on the Nikon B500?

It's for slipping over a microphone, so if you're thinking of putting it directly on the Nikon mic, then no, it won't work. It's a sleeve in which a lav mic is inserted

Yes it does fit Sony ECM-CS3, and sits pretty tight! If you want to use foam windscreens in between the mic and the muff, you might want to look at Bestshoot MW-1 instead.

Will this work on a Sony HX80 and how do you apply it?

the product is designed to work on a lapel type mic, I used it on an intercom system with in a motorcycle helmet...I modified the wind sock by cutting it and making it flat, using double sticky tape to apply the wind sock material to the helmet interior...I'm a Canon user so the "mic" on my Canon cameras are on a flat or curved surface...I haven't tried it on my point and shoot yet, but to utilize it on a point and shoot, you'll have to modify it to make it "fit" ...if you're looking for a "turn key" mic wind sock to fit your HX80...this is not it, but if you're a DIY type... you 'll have (5) chances to experiment to get it just right. HTH

Do you put it on with a velcro
