Perfect for Keeping Everyone where they should be!
This baby gate came and we were able to see it up in about ten minutes! It comes with everything you need except a screwdriver. So simple and easy to use and the directions were easy to follow. We set ours up on a corner in our very small hallway to separate two bedrooms access to the living room. I mounted two sets of hooks different walls allowing our rabbits to come out one at a time and blocking their access to the other rabbits door. Installed on the baseboard it's low enough and hooks close enough to the wall to keep our 3 pound rabbit out and he can't squeeze by- but it's also sturdy enough to contain our 14 pound rabbit to his side.

Gate does its job to keep my pup safe!
I was concerned that my Boxer/Pitt mix would be too rough on this mesh gate but it has held up well. If I don’t correct her she may tend to jump up and lean her weight against it. I’m sure if it happened all the time that eventually the material would become slack.I like the option of being able to move it to another location as the gate came with 2 mounts. The best feature is that the gate is retractable and is out of your way when it’s not needed. Pretty easy to unlatch but not really a one handed operation as advertised.Do wish it came in more colors to match my painted molding and woodwork. . Took off one star because when you move the gate to the other location it doesn’t always click in securely so could be issue with the design of the brackets. Directions could be better as well!

Brackets are very flimsy. Not for high strung dogs
I left a review before but I’m leaving a second one after having these for a year. DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU HAVE A SHEPHERD DOG. These gates would be great for small dogs or calmer dogs such as hounds. However, my 35 lb. Australian Shepherd just plowed right through the gate snapping the spindly plastic brackets each time. He was also able to jump right over it with no problem. The brackets need to be metal and the gate should be taller. I believe any high strung dog (Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, Kelpies, etc.) cannot be restrained by these gates. The gate would also be good for small children. I don’t think I would use it at the top of a staircase. As I said earlier, my 35 lb dog was able to push through the gate. I would be worried about a 35 lb child pushing on the gate at the top of a staircase.

1 year old vs gate 2/0.
Either we have the world’s most destructive child or these gates are trash. Two gates broken at the same exact spot. Literally identical break points. They last for a couple months tops before he just breaks them. We have it setup to cover the top of the stairs and across the living room if we need to lock him in. Luckily both times he has broken the gate it’s not been across the stairwell otherwise he would be taking headers down the stairs when they break. Granted the kid is pushing on the gate when this happens, but for it to break in the exact same spot every time indicates a design flaw period. Will not be trying my luck for a third time. Consider another brand if you intended to block stairs.

Not For Serious Security
I have a LOT of gates because I run a rescue organization. I also have 6 grandkids and 6 great-grandkids. Gates are common at our house, and we know how they should work. We've also used gates for many, many years. This gate is for those who need only a minimal deterrent. The bottom is not at all secure. It's easy to go under and way too flexible. The material it's made of would give easily with kids or pets that climb or pull on it. Unfortunately, my husband discarded the wrapping or it would be returned. I won't even give it away because I'm afraid someone will trust it in the wrong situation. It's not secure if safety is the goal for a child or pet. It's light weight, but it's not easy to use with one hand either. Read the other reviews and be careful where and why you purchase this item.
