Same here. I am afraid the blade is compatible with the round model only. I have not found a compatible blade for this bullet model yet.

How does the #604 bullet style sharpener compare to the alvin 9866 brass bullet sharpener?

I have never used the 9866 brass bullet sharpener........however, the 604 is superb. M + R sharpeners I have found are the best in the world and after discovering them many years ago, I have no need to look any further. My art supplies had gotten ruined in storage and my M + R sharpeners were not ruined. I did want to however get a new one because I had the other one for so long and also wanted the insurance of having a spare. I was ecstatic when I found the set of four. One of the best purchases I have ever made. Thank God for the expert quality they are still made with : )

What diameter mm pencil does this sharpen?

Hmm I guess I don't know a mm measurement, but we use it for normal, yellow, #2 school pencils and it works great.

Es por mucho el mejor sacapuntas que he usado en mi vida. Tengo unos colores crayola que me salieron horribles la madera toda mal procesada ningún sacapuntas me ayudaba con eso y este la corta como mantequilla. Se siente suave casi no tienes que usar fuerza para sacar punta. Le daría un millón de estrellas si pudiera

Product is good, but the seller stated that 4 sharpeners will be provided instead he provided one

The product is good, solid brass sharpener. The quality is superb and can work for many years. The seller stated in the description that there will be four sharpeners instead when the package arrived there was only one. I found that this description will be misleading the buyers, hence caveat emptor. The description clearly says 4 where as only 1 item was received.
