Quality seems to have changed
I use these to make custom lamps and it just feels like the quality has changed on the fixtures. Maybe just a little thinner metal?

Used this to restore a lamp my mother made when she was in high school
My daughter is in 4-H and does electric as one of her projects. This year we decided to restore an old lamp my mother made when she was in 4-H nearly 60 years ago. This is a complete kit with one exception, there was no bushing in the kit that fit the end of the threaded rod. So you have to buy one somewhere else. (It's not safe to have a wire running across bare metal.) I'm taking off 1 star because that is a safety hazard. The black chrome finish is a great look with the dark wood of the lamp.

Worked great
Worked great for the Live Oak lamp I turned from a piece of firewood. The 12" long 1/8" IP threaded lamp pipes were slightly bowed, presumably during shipping, which the only thing that really created problems in install. Since it was a fairly tight fit in the 3/8" hole I bored all the way through the lamp, I ended up loading it into my cordless drill chuck and let the drill thread it through for me. Worked like a charm! The bolt on the top of the harp was a little off-kilter, but I managed to get it bent enough for the shade to sit straight. 3-way socket works perfectly. And I have the extra 12" threaded pipe to make a second with.
