4-thats what I paid. I order them from Amazon as I travel a lot with my bike and am always replacing the lock. LBS will cost more for sure

Yes it makes it easier. No re-using links. Use a new link each time.

Is this a real sram axs connector for a 12 speed flat top chain connector? or is it a after market copy ?

Yes. I have a 12-speed SRAM RED AXS group set on my Pinarello road bike and I've used these links on my SRAM 12-speed chain and they work perfectly--as designed. And yes, they are the "flat top." links that mate with the SRAM 12-speed chain.
