Perler Beads Hinge Motionators

I’ve been into the Perler bead world for a year now and I’ve been wanting to try these out ever since I first heard of them! I must admit I haven’t tried them all out yet, but there’s mostly just the 2 or maybe 3 styles that I was wanting to use anyway. (There are 6 kinds to choose from in package)First off, I’m surprised these aren’t more popular or readily available in the US as I find there to be a lot of people posting their Perler bead creations online that are 3D, moveable, and a lot of them just consist of rigged up hinges and other creative ways to make their projects moveable, but this is so much easier! You just pop them in the desired bead and can just as easily pop it out again if you so choose. I do wish there was an actual “hinge” connector that would work for boxes and “books” and the like, and could do without the “quad” connector since it really isn’t for creating any kind of “motion” anyway, it’s just to make a 3d project more sturdy, I believe. I added a picture of a little round box that I’ve made with a lid that slides/pivots/rotates all the way around to open the box, which is an extremely easy and quick way to finish off a project with a cute lid and be done in no time!All in all it’s definitely worth the money and wait time for shipping, I just hope Perler isn’t going to be doing away with these in the future!

I bought this because I thought it would be a good addition to my granddaughter's perler bead collection. These are very hard to find and I was happy to see them available. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any patterns to use this yet.

I recently came across this pieces and work great when I need to multilayer my perler project, they lock in very well in my project and stay as long us you want. I didn't find use for some piece and I wish it will be more of the single connectors.
