This was a good choice that will last a long time
This was a gift for our son and it was so hard to wait to give it to him. He loves it! He had it together in no time and has had hours upon hours of time enjoying it. Works well along with his other Lego City sets. This was a good choice that will last a long time.

This is a cool little lego set
This is a cool little lego set. It includes the truck, a quad, the outpost (the trailer on sleds), and three mini-figures. I did not count the actual number of pieces, but its a pretty decent sized set and appears to line up with the advertised piece count. The one odd thing about this set is for the lego guys to go inside the main part of the outpost you have to open the entire side. The two doors on there go into a closed off section in the front. Obviously this isn't a huge deal, just thought it was a bit odd especially considering there is a ladder on the side like there should be a door there.

Love anything lego
If you have some who like to build in your family, thus is the toy for them. Teaches fine motor skills and how to follow directions. It also gives them the satisfaction of knowing they made this themselves. We have many lego products and will continue to purchase.

Love the LEGO arctic sets
Solid LEGO set here: PLEASE NOTE: This set is retired, which means it's no longer sold in stores. You'll have to get this set on the secondary market, thus you'll be subjected to a premium when it comes to price. The retail price for this set was $49.99. It's also worth mentioning, LEGO will be releasing a new line of arctic LEGO city sets in the near future... you may decide to hold off on this purchase until then to avoid having to pay a premium. This set is overflowing with features and is rich on the playability front. Check out my pictures to really see all the nooks and crannies in this set where stuff can be stored and work can be done. The three LEGO minifigs that come with this set are perfect. It's hard to really explain in words all the possibility with this set, but believe me, there's a lot going on here. Overall, I like this set and think it provides great value. If you found my review helpful, please let me know below. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Happy bricking!

Probably the biggest and best kit you can get in the $50 dollar range ...
Probably the biggest and best kit you can get in the $50 dollar range (I vetted many options). Includes lots of interesting little specialty piece (ice saw, pic axe, etc). My 6 year old nephew would not stop until the entire kit was done. Entire assembly is probably 5 inches tall and 12 inches long or so.

It looks great once assembled and kids want to play with it ...
After this set purchased I do not believe in lego sets anymore for kids younger 12 y.o. . It was purchased for 4 years old boy. 1. The only way to assemble it - follow the instruction -> this kills creativity part and usually parents will be involved. 2. It looks great once assembled and kids want to play with it which leads us to #3 3. It is too fragile to play with and after five minutes you return to item #1. I think it would be much better to get a kid just a buсket of random lego parts and let them build anything they want and if it breaks they will rebuild the way they want. You may say that they can rebuild this set the way they want - true, but bucket of random parts will cost less.

Price was right and it arrived two days after ordering. For my 6 year old grandson and saved a trip to the local toy store - very convenient at a very competitive price.
