It is ok. Taste is ok.But it is too money for the amount. The tin round decorated container is very nice. Zalatimo need a to lower the price to stay competitive.

Most of the baklava I've had in the US doesn't have much flavor at all. It's not bad, but it's not super good either.This stuff is amazing. Mine just arrived today, and we've eaten like half the container. And, we don't normally eat sweets at all, candy, etc. Kids are fighting over the ones they like the best. It only took a few days to ship from Jordan, and arrived in perfect condition via DHL. The packing is great, and it came with a pen and a couple of neat drink coasters.I'm totally going to start buying this as a gift for people. It's super unique (at least here in the US), and the fact that it's made to order in Jordan and shipped from there is awesome.

Fast delivery directly from Jordan via DHL. All the pieces are intact. I have tried local baklava from different restaurants and they all taste super sweet and even they look different from square to carrot shaped, pretty much taste the same. But these Zalatimo sweets are very tasty, each individual kind have different flavors, the right amount of sweetness, subtle aromas from freshly bake nutty flavors seeping through with each bite. It's worth a buy and definitely will buy again.

Amazing experience. Great fresh product.The order, delivery, and packaging was great. It was delivered 3 days after placing the order although the system estimates 3-5 days.The product was freshly package in a personalized box stating “Freshly Package for [they add your name]). When you open the cardboard package the product is packaged in an air tight zipper bubble package. Inside the package another air tight seal. Instead the seal is the actual tin can. Upon opening the can you are greeted with a thank you note and a menus catalog. Then the actual product is tucked under a protection foam sheet.As for the product it is fresh fresh fresh. Tastes absolutely fantastic. I ended up pushing another package and had the same good experience.

Finally, top-notch Arab baklawa/baklava in the UK! My other half is Jordanian, and we've been unable to get baklawa of this quality in the UK for years, not even on the Edgeware Road. We regularly bring Zalatimos home when we visit my in-laws, obviously that hasn't happened this year due to Covid, so this is real taste of home and morale boost for my partner. There were a couple of unexpected freebies (a pen and coasters) in the pack. It arrived fresh, which is important, quickly and safely wrapped.For people who haven't tasted Arabic baklawa, it's similar to Greek or Turkish baklava: layers of filo with different fillings such as nuts and sweetened with syrup,but is sweeter and more buttery to the taste than the Turkish or Greek equivalents.This is a high quality product, hence the price but you get what you pay for. You will see cheaper pastries around, but Zalatimos is more like a high end box of hand made chocolates rather than something you pick up at the petrol station. 100% recommend.I may be a bit too excited, but you have no idea how long we've been on the look out for this here.

This package arrived at my doorstep in FOUR DAYS, from Jordan to Ireland. Very impressive for a start. I bought this as a gift for Ramadhan when we go visit our Muslim friend. Packaging is perfect, no damage to the box or the tin inside which comes bubble wrapped. Product looks very high quality and I am so happy with this purchase I think I will buy one for myself.I sampled the sweets they included as a free gift and they were DELICIOUS!!! My only regret is that I will not be sampling the treats inside this time. But I am happy with everything from shipping to receipt of package. I hope they don't stop selling this on Amazon so I can buy more next year.

I received these 3 days after order. I gave one tin to a Muslim friend of mine for Eid and we kept a tin.My friend absolutely loved the look of them, he is waiting for the end of Ramadan to share them with his family.We tucked into our last night, they are delicious. Not too sweet, they are a good size.The presentation and packaging is superb.I highly recommend these and the company supplying them

This is simply very good! Not too sweet, very fresh and nicely packed. Package (very luxuriously and carefully packed) came with a couple of coasters and 2 biscuit samples to have a taste of their other sweets. By far the best pistachios baklava I've ever had.Arrived promptly, 1 day earlier than expected. Don't know what else to add than the fact it was delicious. I wish they'd be back.
