Was a bit worried when I waited for this to arrive because there were not very many reviews. So pleased and happy with purchase once item arrived and I became familiar with the features. It came in a lovely gift-quality box and when removed from packaging I noted how well made and beautiful the design is. The hemp strap is easily removeable, the on/off mechanism feels solid and the lamp provides bright enough light/lumens to read by or perform a task. It lights a standard room easily. So far I love using it, and with intermittent usage (30 mins sometimes before bed) I have not yet noticed any dimming. It looks lovely just hanging out on a table, and feels built to last. Only negative comment is some of the pictures of the item in listing make it appear slightly bigger than reality. This does not bother me much, as this little light will be one of my new favorite things. Highly recommended.

I purchased this lantern because I needed warm white lighting (aka tungsten orange color) for Renaissance faires. Many faires don’t allow open flames so tiki torches are not an option. I needed something which approximates a period look while being practical.There are two things which would be nice to have. The first is a flickering candle effect. The second is to have a heavily frosted diffuser in front of the bulb so that it doesn’t blatantly show that it’s an LED light source. I may end up modding the diffuser even if it means the light output will be reduced.Lastly, even though the batteries it comes with are decent (2x 2,500 mah) I chose to replace them with 2x 3,500 mah batteries in increase the run time.I’ll give it some real world use at faires. If it holds up I can imagine many of my guild members will be purchasing them.

I got this camping lantern for my bedroom decoration because of its cool design. The lightness is adjustable which goes from dim to very bright. This lantern is also very lightweight and if you plan to hang it on the tress or somewhere for holiday decorations, it's doable!

It's very nicely make.Metal is solid, wood is well finished, takes a standard battery.Yes, there are brighter, but I'd rather two of these than one harsh lamp.To get to max brightness you need to be quick on the controls, read the manual.

This Lantern is a great choice for outdoor lighting. It's practical and beautiful. The light can be yellow light which is warm and easy on the eye, it can also be white light that is bright to show the surrounding. The knob switch can adjust the brightness of the yellow light or the white light to meet different brightness requirements in different situations. My favorite feature is that the lantern can also be used as a power source to charge my phone!! It is a great outdoor companion.Overall, the outlook of this lantern is classic and beautiful and it is a great value for the money.

I live this light. Once charged it will be good for using for 5-7days for me! Beautiful design and lovely adjustable light brightness from dim to bright!It would be a lovely light use at home too if you like to take pictures of food and good to use on dining table!I live this product and highly recommend to you! :)

Cool little camping/emergency lantern. I like the different settings that allow you to go from bright white to a more mellow yellowish light that adds to the kerosene feel of this lantern. And it can also charge my phone in a pinch.

Works as expected. Design is nice, my only complaint would be that the rope handle is frizzy/frayed looking which takes away from the appearance imo. Functional wise it's been great so far.
