The first 4 songs are are new tracks with the remaining being 2 live tracks and the rest either re-recordings or remasters of old songs. That would normally put me off if this were practically any other band, however the new songs are amazing and the re-recordings are done very very well, and in the case of "Get you alone" I have to say I like it better than the original cut from "Get skin tight". Any dyed in the wool Donnaholic will love this album!

The Donnas are a "Girl" group in the vein of The Runaways .They're raunchy and wild .They play hard and they are loud . So sit back turn it up to 11 and let these new Queens of Noise Rock you .

If you appreciate both the punk rock Donnas and the rock 'n' roll Donnas, then you'll love this album. Myself, I more appreciate the rock 'n' roll Donnas. This is a "tongue-in-cheek" greatest hit album as it features new cuts combined with remakes, remixes, alternate takes and live cuts. I think there might be a couple of original, previously released songs. I was a little stunned by the live versions of "Take It Off" and "Fall Behind Me" that appear on the album. It's not like they weren't good, but were performed almost identical to the studio version and a little pedestrian. The highlights of the album are the 2009 remakes featuring Brett Anderson's more mature, driving vocals. "You Make Me Hot" is my favorite cut and features an additional guitar lick from Allison Robertson that was not present on the original version. At 2:29, however, they missed a great opportunity to add a couple of verses and make this excellent tune last a little longer.

A must have for all Donna's collectors. New stuff and old stuff live! Great addition.Quick ship and packed well.

I love these chicks. This is the first CD of theirs that I've bought and it DOES NOT dissappoint !! Hard rockin' broads who know how to sing and play their instruments. Every song rocks.

Great album, the vinyl was in excellent condition. Perfect Stranger, (included on this LP), is one of my favorite songs by these amazing ladies!

I don't see how any fan of this band could possibly be disappointed. Here are infinitely better performances than on their preceding release in pretty decent sound. Some hard rock material and some more Ramones inspired stuff, and the live tracks stand up well. Kudos to their effective, reliable, emotive guitarist, I always enjoy her playing.As to the material - this is exactly what I would love to see from say, PJ Harvey; a mix of old favorites redone, a few new songs, a few live songs. I would love to see this sort of release from any musician that I liked. Are you reading this, John McLaughlin?All in all, it's worth at least 5 stars. Their best release in a while.

Bel CD delle Donnas, con canzoni inedite e versioni remixate ed anche versioni live. Una raccolta che merita comperare er percorrere la carriera di questo gruppo.

ive only just found this exists 5 years late . theres something for every donnas fan here , some rare songs from the end of their career ( which i dont really care for ) then some live stuff , some re records of the 1st record - which is great cos i love those songs but sometimes the quality of the recordins can be a bit grating . then theres a couple of unreleased gems from the early days too - and they are worth buying the album for alone.
