Solid backpack with a modern look
I was a bit hesitant ordering this backpack because I am an art student. If you visit my campus you'll see students scurrying about with giant portfolios, a computer bag, and, often, a separate backpack to hold supplies, papers, etc. And I am no different.I was looking for something that could combine the computer bag with the normal backpack so I would only be carrying two things (portfolio and backpack) instead of three. So my hesitation was that this would not have enough room to carry all of my supplies, computer accessories, and papers. However, now that I have it (and have used it for a few weeks) I'm quite glad I made the purchase. I only have one book for my classes and it fits nicely in the main compartment, as well as the small box (same width as the bag) I use to hold drawing supplies, my laptop charger, portable hard drive, and an assortment of pens, papers, and other supplies. The computer compartment is padded very nicely and lined with a felt-like material that protects against scratches. I have no worries putting my 13 in. Macbook Pro in there. The compartment is big enough to hold a 15 in. laptop but the 13 in. fits nicely and doesn't wobble around much. There is a large (but hidden) pocket on the front of the bookbag that I use for a Moleskine sketchbook. And the iPod pocket above that is wonderful. It is padded and lined with the same felt material in the computer compartment and has a rubberized exit hole for your headphone cable to come out of. I never use my headphones while walking because I never have a long walk. But if you're walking around a large campus or walking a distance to work, this would be quite handy. The bag is made very well, with comfortable shoulder straps and sturdy material/stitching all around. I can't see it coming apart or ripping any time soon.Additionally, the bag comes with a small rectangular bag that fits nicely inside the main compartment. I assume it is designed to hold computer cables but I haven't had any use for it. It is a nice accessory though and I could see it being useful if I didn't have a box for my drawing supplies. So if you're looking for a backpack that has a modern look, a GREAT price, and you don't have an insane amount of books to carry around, this is the bag for you. Everything I mentioned in this review fits snuggly inside the bag, so if you had much more than that, you might want to look for something larger. But all in all, great bag. You won't regret buying it.

Good Backpack, Good Price
The price you get here just can't be beat. Especially considering how well built this backpack is. It's slim which is why you're thinking of buying it and it's very practical. Like another reviewer said, it's small but not to the point where you'd want to buy a bigger backpack.Let's start with the cons. I would have given this backpack a 4.5 stars if I could. The looks of the backpack won't appeal to all, and they definitely don't appeal to me. It has a minimalistic look that just doesn't look all that aesthetically pleasing to me. Perhaps more color scheme options and some changes to its shape would've made it look more attractive. But hell, who cares how it looks. It works effing great! Most people wonder how much this baby can hold. Well all the reviews you've read are probably accurate. You can fit a laptop, a textbook, and some peripherals. Specifically, you can fit up to a 15.6" widescreen laptop which is what I have. If you have a 15.6" laptop that is NOT widescreen, be warned, it might not fit. I don't have one on me to try, but my 15.6" widescreen fits with about an inch of room left width-wise. As for length, there is no extra room, so don't even thin about fitting anything more than a 15.6" in there. In addition, I can fit a textbook in there with room to spare. I can fit two textbooks in there IF I put all my peripherals on top of my textbook, meaning they are on the same layer. The two textbooks stacked together are about 3 inches, maybe a little more. Putting two textbooks in there definitely makes it a stretch though. Also, with the laptop, and textbooks in there, there is still enough space for a 1 inch binder and a 1 subject composition notebook.Lastly, there are two pockets in the front. One small one for a cellphone and a big one for whatever you have left.So in all, I have a 15.6" widescreen laptop, 2 textbooks, a 1 inch binder, a one subject spiral notebook, and peripherals (power supply/cords, ti 84 calculator, + more if need) There's still room for small stuff like pencils but that's about it. With everything inside, it becomes a BIG STRETCH. It's a little harder to close the backpack and it'll be a bit bulky at this point (although it'll be slimmer than other backpacks that have the same amount of crap inside)Realistically, you should plan to have at most one textbook in there. That way, you can comfortable fit all of your peripherals inside there and still maintain a slim profile. If you have another textbook, hold it while you walk to class and look cool with your slim slim backpack. All in all, it does exactly what I need it to which is carry all my stuff and still maintain a slim profile. If you have any questions, comment, and I shall reply.
