LensCoatLens Cover for Canon 100-400 IS II camouflage neoprene camera lens protection sleeve (Real tree Max4) lenscoat

I was super excited to order and receive my Lenscoat cover for my new canon 100-400 mk2 lens. The neoprene is good and the little lenscoat flags looked cool.So I carefully dressed my new lens in its coat only to find:-1. That putting the hood back into its storage position was almost impossible… and that was without the lens being attached to a camera, and at home on my desk! I cannot imagine how frustrating this would be in the field.2. The hood cover does not have a gap for the little door, which I do not think is a major issue ….. but3. It also covers the little security knob which holds the hood to the lens. It is extremely fiddly to try to remove the hood with this cover on the lens hood.4. I like the part which covers the zoom ring in its own, but not if I want to use the lens hood.5. The tightening ring is almost impossible to use, and the piece is so skinny that it slides all over the camera.6. The next part is the piece that goes over the knob which moves the foot plate ring. Utterly useless! You can only use this piece if you don’t use the foot, as the piece does not have a cut out for the foot plate!7. The final piece I tried was the little piece with the windows, but this is another skinny part which just shifted back towards the camera and covered the information.All in all I was utterly disappointed with this product… particularly at a hefty price of £72.I have returned the item for a refund.

Still working well, had this sometime now. So I feel it is time for a review. This fits well, keeps its shape and doesn’t mind getting a bit damp. Good product

Good material easy to fit, only down side is it makes reversing the hood difficult when transporting the lens

First of all it doesn't fully cover the lens as claimed. One of the covers already ripped and I don't expect the rest longer. very expensive for what it is as there also lot more cheaper ones and they look much better. I wouldn't buy again as I made a big mistake keeping it without returning.

This lens coat is of poor quality and split in two places on it's first outing. I thought that LensCoat was a good quality product so wonder if this is a copy. I will be returning it.
