Q: What is the paint made of? I just want to know before i take too many drinks from it.

The stein can be used for food and drink (however it should not be placed in the dishwasher or microwave and should just be hand washed). The paint is only used on the outside of the stein and the inside is just glazed ceramic which is fired at a high temperature
