Team Umizoomi Backpack

You should have seen my (almost three year old) son's face when he saw it. It's his favorite now and it's the first backpack he actually wanted to wear. The backpack is wider than the average "toddler" backpack (ex. Thomas), but narrow. It is perfect as a toddlers daypack and can comfortably fit: a change of clothes, extra diapers, snacks, juice, a small toy or two. It has two somewhat narrow compartments (in case you want to separate dirty or wet clothes in the smaller one from the rest of the items). Carrying a thick sleeping mat or school supplies is a bit too much, however. Also, if you purchase the accompanying Lunch kit, the kit takes up a good portion of the bag and doesn't leave much room left. Since it's pretty much plastic / polyvinyl, it cleans easily. Again, it's more about the Umicar and Team Umi than functionality - but who said toddlers were practical..? ;)

You need to be VERY cate with the zipper or will break. But for a little kid it's ok...although I figure they'd be rougher than although bigger kid trying to open
