Bought these for the tensioners. These are faster than tying a prusik knot, and I just leave them in their own piece of paracord rope for use at a later time.

For the knot tying challenged
I not an expert at knot tying. These little gems eliminate *most of* your need to be one. Although lashing is a whole other art one needs to know.
