Optimus F-1672BK-F Indoor Plug-in Fan, 16-Inch, White

We have two units. The younger one failed after about 2 years and i cant blame the fan cause it spent a little time on the porch and some elements uncovered, mine still works fine but wife failed and she wanted a new one right away the programmable 'ocean simulation' really helps her sleep alot so i ordered one right away to replace. we are rather poor im a va veteran stricken with bad Multiple sclerosis but i managed to come up with the money. its been thru a redesign once ours has a slightly less fancy lookinig control panel on the neck.I just wish there was a way to order replacement remote controls i think the remotes may be 'keyed' to each machine so i dont even know how to order a new one let alone who to ask... it really is handy since i cant reach it from my hospital bed. my wife also has to bust her butt taking care of me so being able to just lean over and pick up a remote is great.....Like people have mentioned, a button to turn owcillation on and off remote would be nice. in fact that feature would up the attractiveness a lot and i would pay a little extra if i spotted it on a product. thank you.

I wanted to like this fan, but like everything in my life, it is a one-way street.1. Right out of the box, the OFF button was cracked and inoperable, so I turned to option #2. The remote is DOA. Kaput. One more piece of plastic in my junk drawer. So basically, my ON/OFF switch is pulling the plug because there's no other way of TURNING IT OFF.3. It has this confusing button option thing for "mode" where it tries (unsuccessfully) to mimic a breeze by slowing down then speeding up. I can not think of a more annoying feature -- although, there is:4. In order to oscillate the fan (ya know, back and forth) you have to put up with a teeth-grinding *CLACK* at every turn.I just want it to be a fan and do its thing. This device seems to have been assembled under duress.

These fans arrived fairly quickly in the manufacturer's packaging. The tape was barely holding together at the seams and I was worried pieces might have been lost. Once I open the box there were no lost pieces however everything was very scratched as it shifted so much in the box during travel. They are very flimsy and not well made. Very easy to put together but the pieces don't mesh exactly. However once the fans were put together they do work well. I just don't know how long they're going to last.

Purchased a Optimus 16 Inch Oscillating Stand Fan with RemoteControl on June 9, 2019.The issue that I am having is the fan is not blowing enough air out asit used to do. I tried contacting Amazon and CSR directed me clean thefan and oil it as well. So I did everything but the issue is stillthere.Then I contacted Manufacturer as it is still under warranty. They asked me to send the fan back to them. However, I don't have the box and neither did they tell me that who will take care of the expense of mailing the fan back to them. I did ask them these things but they are not responding anymore.So, a worthless buy.

As the previous reviews indicated, the packing of this fan was horrible. There were scratches all over and it looked like it had been used. In the end, I decided to assemble anyway because of some of the positive reviews. I’m glad I did. The fan works perfectly which is amazing given how cheap the parts are. You get what you pay for, right!? All in all it was a good purchase. I just hope it lasts!

This works reasonably well, though it does tend to stick a bit when it is oscillating sometimes.It’s pretty shaky, too, though I assembled it correctly. I’m keeping it as it’s.a pain to return.I will say it was inexpensive, so I guess it’s a good deal for the price.Edit- died very fast - cheap isn’t always good

We bought two of these fans. Both were difficult to assemble, parimarily because the parts did not fit together well. Both fans are very loud. We keep them on the lowest setting, even when we need higher, because they are just so loud.

Hard for me to put together. Important piece rolled under bed where I can't reach it, rendering whole fan unusable. I am disabled senior without help.

I ordered 2 of these. They were easy to assemble. However, it was clear that one had been used and returned. The base was scratched and the tab for the battery compartment had been removed. Because they were both working good I decided not to go thru the hassle of returning

Easy enough to assemble, but very bad quality. Also very noisy, not good for a bedroom. The item is top-heavy. Since the joint to the base is not very secured, the fan leans and tips over. Too lazy to send back so I will keep until it breaks (which I suspect will be soon). Pay more for better quality.

After having these fans for little over 3 weeks, one has cracked blades, both have stopped working. useless to say the least.

Not very powerful waste of money absolute garbage if u want cool air not very powerful because its whisper quiet means less powerful
