Q: could someone measure length and width of the flat portion of the bottom of the pot? Is it ok on the stove top even though oval?

I measured the inside flat to be 11.25 inches by 8.75 inches. I have a gas Jenn-Air 4 burner stove. My burners are about 3 inches. The grade over them is about 10.5 x 9.75. I was originally concerned when I read it might discolor if flames were rising on the sides. I have used it and have not had any issues with the oval size. I kinda thought before I purchased it that a quality maker wouldn't make a pot that it's customers couldn't use on a regular gas stove. No special burner size needed. I love my pot.
