It creates a nice hold and volume in the hair without being too tacky and non-malleable. Doesn’t leave a sticky texture to the hair.

I'm a simple guy, I don't do a lot with my hair, but everything I need my hair to do: this stuff does it. Wrangles fly-aways, holds it in place without looking like a helmet, keeps it shiny without being greasy. I can use it right out of the shower, or if I forget I put it in later, works great both ways.

I was so nervous about getting my daughter‘s bangs back into ponytails and buns for dance competitions. This stuff is amazing! I can’t believe how well it works.

Blends really nicely into fine hair to add volume.

I didn’t keep this because the fragrance of the product was way too masculine. If for a woman, find a different R&Co product. They have so many wonderful fragrances and their products usually perform well.

Im in my late 40's and very thankful for my sweet salad on my head still. I love this product! I put a little in my hair when its a slightly damp and it turns into the perfect texture. It's smooth and not so sticky or crunchy like other hair products. I recommend getting the R+Co Rockaway salt spray too for the days off from Mannequin.

R&Co is a great company. This hair paste is a great consistency and does a nice job styling hair. We (my son and I both use it!) have fine hair but it works well in both short and long hair. Give it a try, you’ll like it!

I love r+co, have bought Mannequin 3 times now. It’s truly the best. I have had varying lengths (pixie to a long bob), currently cut myself and short and I always reach for this.

The only product i use now

i used this in my hair as instructed after towel drying. i find it has a coconut/mango scent which im not a huge fan of but thats personal preference, i dont really like mango scent, if you do youll love this. i found it gave my hair good hold for a few hours, making my hair look as though its soft and you can run your fingers through it, but holding it in place so its not that easy. you can still run your fingers through the hair but i find its not as soft as normal, though it looks soft and shiny, as if you dont have product in the hair. ive used other products that have given good hold and left my hair soft to the touch but they dont hold as well as this product without giving it a greasy look.

First I'll say I much prefer Park Avenue blow out or High Dive to this Mannequin Styling paste but it's pretty good in it's own right. I already have very full and wavy hair but this gave me more volume for sure. It wasn't as gross feeling in my hair as I expected a paste to be and the next day I could brush my hair without it being a tangled mess. I don't know that I have much use for this but I can tell from using it that it would be excellent for making an up-do. It gives that teased rats nest kind of effect with zero effort and it tends to keep whatever shape you style it into. So if you wanted to do a really loose looking French braid, this stuff would work wonders. Any style that needs teasing would love this paste. The fragrance is ok, kind of a sweet grapefruit scent. It's not my favorite but it's not bad and not as polarizing as the fragrance of Park Avenue blowout (which people either love or hate). Overall, I think it's best as a special occasion product; wedding hair, prom hair or that kind of thing. An excellent addition to any salon.

Love this paste! Its super nice and feels good in the hair. It keeps my hair still and enough to move it around if needed. I didn’t use a lot at all and my hair looks perfect with it! I like the smell of this too. I have always loved r+co and I will always continue buying from them because I truly think they make the best hair products on the market. I use this everyday and I recommend you do too
