Nice Little Pendulum

The ring that attaches to pendulum to the chain is always faulty
I love these pendulums, BUT, the flimsy piece of metal they use to attach the pendulum to the chain has been weak in every single one I've tried. The pendulum inevitable slips off the ring because it's made so that you can slip it on and off - I wonder why? The thing would be perfect if this ring were sealed and permanent, instead of loosely coiled.
