I used this for a range hood that recycles air out the top vent back into the kitchen. Impossible to find the charcoal replacement. This is definitely not the same type of filter that was in there but I used it anyway. Seems like a lot more will pass through this one than my old one that had some sort of charcoal beads or something inside a metal shell with holes. I also use this for the air exchanger intake filter. Cuts easy and there is a basically a lifetime supply in 1 roll.

This was the least expensive “cut to fit” charcoal filter I found. It was delivered the next day and was easily cut horizontally along the fold line, leaving me with two perfect replacement filters.

Perfect for range hood i put a piece of 1/4 mesh over the fan then the filter then an other junk of mesh worked out awesome. I got this big junk of filter for what just one filter cost for my range and it is way better. It is 3.34mm thick for anyone wondering That is just as thick as you get in them ALUMINUM FOIL filters maybe more. Update it is now Oct 17th 2024 and i just replaced my first Carbon Pad i put in my range hhood in Nov of 2023. It has worked awesome.
