How does this knife go from $35 to $50 and now to $60? It’s too bad, was gonna be my 4th gladiator knife but not after a $25 markup for the same knife

I bought the 12” Knife and already have a great set of knives. It’s worth $100 all day. Very Large knife, superbly made and can be passed on to your children if it’s properly maintained. Impressive that it was once available for $35. The fact that it was once available for $35 doesn’t mean it’s not worth $100. I recall it being cheaper as well, but I didn’t buy one. I regret that I didn’t buy one at the lower price, but am not at all disappointed with the $87 before, a little over $100 after tax, that I paid for this quality knife.

How thick is the blade for the 12"?. Can I use this to slaughter Pig?9

Thank you for asking. The blade thickness is 3.0MM. And yes, you can use it for slaughtering a pig but for chicken and pork bones we would suggest the Gladiator Series The Ravager Cleaver or the Gladiator Series R The Obliterator Cleaver. And for beef bones, it may need a meat saw.
