ION Audio Patio Mate | Umbrella Light and Bluetooth Stereo Speaker with Built-In Rechargeable Battery

Wow! I bought a crap one at Big Lots which got returned because the blue tooth never worked. After carefully researching and reading reviews before I buy anything this is what I purchased! I charged it and placed it on my umbrella and it fit perfect, then turned it on by pushing the on switch, it stated it was on, then clicked the blue tooth button and my phone found it. It speaks stating it was connected, to my phone, and it worked flawlessly every since! The easiest set up I've ever had! The sound is really crisp and clear with nice base and no distortion at all even on high. Louder than I expected. I use it all the time while gardening. It's really awesome and as a music lover this is a must have. I love the fact you charge it thus avoiding the battery changing nightmare. I used it for 2 weeks about 4 hours a day and just now had to charge it. It charged fast too. I read reviews about the buttons were hard to see, so I lowered mine on my umbrella so I can easily reach it and it's not a deal breaker for me, you only have a few buttons that's it. I really love, love, love it and plan on getting another. The sound is better than most portable blue tooth speakers I've had and my friends have had. Since its up high on your umbrella it produces such good sound. Plenty of other uses too, for you can take it with you to the beach or camping. The battery life is excellent unlike some others where you barely get 4 hours before charging. Excellent product for the price! Highly recommend....

This product works even better than I thought. I was skeptical at first because I was worried about the quality of the product. Now that I have it, I am quite pleased. It is made of sturdy plastic, the speakers are loud enough, and the lights are brighter than I expected. Would Recommend.

So disappointed. It has to be charged but no charging cable was included. USB to connect to computer for charge. But that did not charge it either. So disappointed. I tried to call amazon and they tried to resolve but I couldn’t contact the seller. Horrible. I am going to send it back. I will buy a different one from a diuferent sellerOk so I checked this product out again just to see if it charged. The light was green. So I pressed power and it actually talked say pairing. So I think it is working. I will check it out again after mass. Keep you in touch.Well here I am again the patio lights work and blue tooth is great. Sorry about all the negatives I wrote earlier. Surprisingly great sound and good lighting for the outdoors. It is not HK or JBL but for the price, the quality of the product and the practicality of it, it is well worth it!! Really a no-brainer, if you are concerned about forgetting it outside as compared to forgetting a high-end speaker like HK or JBL where you would have paid a significant amount for. I would recommend this product for any small intimate backyard barbecue or camping trip with family. Shipping fees and customs to Canada were less than what they estimated and a refund was issued for the prepaid custom fees. Delivery was fast and the product was well packaged for shipping.

What a great product for patio enjoyment! Hi and Lo light settings allow for full Table lighting or dimmer ambiance lighting. Surprisingly good Bluetooth audio sound and really easy pairing. Also push button and click together for pole attachment in seconds at any desired height. Great price for the features. I liked it so much I immediately ordered a second one for a free standing umbrella on the same patio!

I actually had this on my shower head for some extra light that was dim at the same time. The speakers are good quality and it can definitely tolerate some water. It just feels reliable when you actually handle it. The lights are adjustable and this product can be used really on any sort of pole structure.

After many failed, inadequate purchases, this is IT! Love it. I can actually see my patio without multiple light sources, and the sound quality is very impressive! Also, it dosen't seem to attract alot of bugs.

Bought this for my beach umbrella and it's just perfect. The sound quality is super nice and lately have been using it in my kitchen too. It's louder than I thought it would be and had no problems hearing it on a very windy beach day where my umbrella practically flew away. I'm extremely happy with this product and will probably buy one for my mom. Wish it came in other colors.

I was really surprised by the quality of this. Good solid speakers that give highly quality sound that's really quite loud and sounds like a very decent speaker. The light is bright with a very warm tone and absolutely perfect for a patio table on a warm summer's evening. I am so happy with this product, it's one of the best things I've bought on Amazon.

Well, it is a rare thing when a product does what is says, and better than expected. Tips, make sure you fully charge it (about 5 hours), turn the voice instructions off ( very annoying). Lights have two settings, bright and half strength, both are great. Sound is as good as any other Bluetooth device I have, in this instance controlled from my iPhone. Downloaded Smooth radio to my phone and plays great, even though it's buffered live (geek speak for streaming). Just do it, you won't be disappointed.

Great product - does exactly what it says on the tin. Fits our parasol with ease (looks great once in place - very subtle) and provides ample light as well as music when we're enjoying a BBQ or entertaining in the summer. Is also pretty easy to connect to any device to get the tunes flowing.Couple of small criticisms - takes an absolute age to charge but has a good battery life once it is fully charged. In addition it's not the loudest speaker but is perfect for soft music in the garden - if you're after a 1,000 watt speaker to bang out your tunes you're probably not going to be looking at this item in any case!!

Amazing product! Got this on-spec to see if it would actually deliver and I'm so impressed. Bluetooth pairing worked really easily and the sound quality from the 2 speakers is surprisingly good, depth and treble come through nicely. It isn't overly loud but this is fine for the kind of intimate setting for which it's designed.Lights have TWO brightness settings, which was a nice surprise as it can be quite dazzling in the dead of night and I discovered that if you INVERT the device on the parasol pole, it creates a really nice uplighter effect reflecting off the canopy and eliminates hard shadows, this is now how i use it.Finally, the construction is really solid and the clasp around the pole is very secure.

Great device, a bit bigger than I thought it would be but well pleased with it. Charged to full in about 4 hours and apart from nearly blinding myself working out how to get the led lights to switch on {after reading the instructions}am very happy with it. Good volume on the speakers and a very well made product for the price.
