Nice that it has no small parts
2 year old grandson loves playing with this. Nice that it has no small parts, but can hold small parts we already have. Sturdy, great colors and it all works super.

A little disappointing.
The Easter Bunny bought two of these (one for my 5 year old and one for my 3 year old). We spend A LOT of time outside and I thought these would be great for exploring, checking out bugs on the sidewalk, etc. They have two lights (one white and one red) and a knob to turn to focus. I wouldn't call it really magnifying though. It's a cute idea...just really weak.

the magnifier does not enlarge much and it is not very easy to observe small things
We received this truck as a sample from the company. The truck is very well made. It has a big magnifier with two LED lights. It ignited the research interests in my 4-year old son who tried to use the magnifier to study coins, bugs, and toys. However, the magnifier does not enlarge much and it is not very easy to observe small things. It will be more engaging if the truck can talk or if the company can provide a studying guide for kids to use the toy for in the household or backyard.

This is a really cute toy. I love the easy accessibility of the trap door with just a slight push down, which makes it easy for the little kids. The one drawback of this simple feature is that if you're pushing down on the truck to keep the trap door open, it makes it harder to navigate around dirt or grass. Excellent durable design. Love the undercarriage lighting and night lighting as well. I wish the magnification were a little more than it is, but overall this is a very fun toy for little ones!

Geosafari Truck
My almost 3-year old son loves trucks and cars, so naturally loves this truck. He is apparently not ready to understand all the details of the Geosafari Science Truck. But, I know he will learn to use it.
