The different temperature settings are very helpful and (seemingly) accurate and consistent. Boils fast enough, and looks cool with the soft blue light and glass kettle. My kids get entranced watching it boil, so....it's multi-purpose! :)

It works well and looks nice.

Update: Hamilton Beach offered me a replacement. I told them I don't want a replacement because your first pitcher damaged multiple items on my countertop. I told hem "I replaced your product with a different one. I am not asking for recompense for the losses your leaking pitcher caused, I am only asking for a refund of my purchase price. Crickets. BE WARNED. I loved this for 10 months and then yesterday I discovered that my countertop was covered with a puddle of WATER! This pitcher was never dropped or mistreated in ANY way. I have no idea why it would suddenly spring a slow leak--but it did. A flaw causing inaccurate heating could be excused, but there is no excuse for an undamaged pitcher leaking! This is clearly the result of a design or manufacturing flaw that is likely to be repeated. Everything that was on my countertop that could be damaged by water needs to be thrown away. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this pitcher.

My daughters (9&11) love making tea and I wanted them to be more independent without having to use the stove. It’s easy for them to fill, set the temperature, and serve. I love that they can set the “keep warm” function and I can pour a cup when I want some as well. I wish it heated a little quicker; I wouldn’t say it’s any faster than the stove. I also noticed that one of the buttons is already seeing wear, and it’s only 2 weeks old (see picture). It’s good quality and I like the bright light when the water is boiling.

I purchased this product almost a year ago and have used it daily since then. It worked great until recently when it stopped heating water. As it was still under warranty, Hamilton Beach is replacing the unit free of charge. The reality is that some products will fail no matter how well they are designed and made. The customer service from Hamilton Beach is exceptional.

1st - Pay attention to which Kettle you select. They look similar but are different! Not all of them have the temperature choice option. No all of them have multicolored LEDs.I choice the temperature controlled option with the blue LED. My favorite part is selecting the temperate I prefer for my drink. The Blue LED stays on only until it's finished heating. There is a beep when finished followed by the LED turning off. The less you fill the kettle, the faster it heats. However, I find that it's fast even when all the way full. This was amazing at our Christmas party, when serving tea and hot chocolate.Would 1000% order again.

My family loves this and uses it daily. It’s easy to use and we like the light feature along with the different preset temperature settings.

I bought this in September of 2023. I started to notice after about 4 months of daily use, that there was a popping noise sometimes while it was heating up. Then it would turn off before reaching temperature and not allow me to turn it back on for about 5-6 minutes. I believe water was leaking around the temp probe in the bottom and affecting the electronics in the base.I called the company and after describing the problem and providing all relevant info about the product (serial number, model number, etc) they very kindly sent me a replacement. It wasn’t the same model with the glass sides, but was nonetheless a similar product.Now it is April in 2024 and this replacement is doing the same thing. There is a pop and the device turns off and will not turn back on. I strongly suspect it is the same issue.Other than this issue, it is a decent product. It is easy to use, easy to fill, and reliably heats water to various temps.

Al segundo día de uso me percaté que estaba derramando agua de la base de la cafetera, lo cual es pésimo, pero además peligroso si hace contacto con el cable o algo más en tu cocina con corriente eléctrica. Cuando usé la función de “boil” nunca se apagó en automático, lo cual también es peligroso! Y para terminar, el botón de “Open” se botó y salió volando en estos dos días de uso. Pésima calidad en este modelo!Es una lástima ya que anteriormente tuve otro modelo más económico que esté, de la misma marca y nunca tuve problemas hasta como 3 años después de comprarlo, que dejó de funcionar repentinamente.Conclusión: No compren este modelo de tetera!
