WILLIAMS WGRS-HR Receiver Peep Sight 17778 These compact low profile sights are lightweight, strong and rustproof with positive windage and elevation locks. In most cases the sight utilizes the dovetail or existing screws on top of the receiver for installation. Some guns will require drilling and tapping to install this sight. Notes: Sight is made to fit 1/2 radius barrels or receivers with 1 hole spacing. NOTICE: ALL WGRS RECEIVER SIGHTS ARE FURNISHED WITH THE STANDARD R-3/8 X .093 LONG SHANK APERTURE. About Williams Williams Gun Sight Company was started in 1926 by Harvey Williams as a sight manufacture. The company grew its sight manufacturing business over the years then developed a retail store and shooting ranges in Davison, Michigan. In recent years, Williams is the oldest sight company that provides sights to many different gun manufactures.

**Q: Will this sight fit a Henry Single shot rifle H015-308?**
A: Not sure about the Henry but this model of sight fits a barrel that is 1” in diameter. The hole spacing for the screws is probably different too. Call Williams Gun Sights they’re very helpful.

**Q: Will this fit my H&R 1871 buffalo classic 45-70?**
A: It is what came with the rifle from the factory...so yes it will.

**Q: What height front sight is recommeded for this? What is the height of the center of the peep hole?**
A: My Henry single shot required a .70 front sight

**Q: Will this fit a Rossi 92 .357??**
A: No it will not fit a Rossi or any other 1892 replica. I chose a Marbles Bullseye that replaces the rear sight. It works very well for hunting / plinking.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good dight with a minor flaw

Good sight. I mounted this on my 45-70 in place of the Williams sight that came with it mounted on the barrel. The peep is easy to see through and as quick as the original notch type rear sight. The only thing that bothered me was the fit to the barrel. This sight screws down to the scope base at the rear or the receiver. the sight radius doesn't match the larger radius of the chamber. It fits the barrel where the factory sight goes. There is a small gap you can see light through. It does not fit where the original sight was die to the screw hole spacing being different. This isn't a huge deal and the sight works perfectly.
