Great for fabrics!
I only used the papers and tools provided to do my tracing and the picture shows how well this came out. The fabric is brushed microfiber (polyester), it is a pretty nice pillow case, I put a hard surface into the pillow case and did the tracing. I pinned both the tracing paper and pattern to the pillow case. I did use some pressure as well as go over it several times to ensure transfer. I feel I got better than expected results! I was worried about this fabric taking the pattern due to being soft but it seems to have done so amazingly. Believe it or not I had a mistake on the tail portion and to remove it I used a velvet style lint remover brush.. and began again.. so it comes off easily with out having to wash if needed before stitching. I dont recommend lint brush removal after embroidery work.. and haven't tried washing to see if it easily comes off fabric after work is completed, will update review after. As it comes with a lot of sheets in a variety of colors it may be awhile (only used 4 for one pillow case) before I need to rebuild, but I definitely will! These are not the reusable style, I made the silly mistake of putting the copy side down on the pattern not the fabric and it still left a hint of the pattern.. so if you have this problem this might be the case. Make sure the shinier side faces the cloth not the pattern.. yes i read this, but I still accidentally put it face down incorrectly.. :)Very easy to use.. paper is carbon paper/tissue paper thin, so not meant to draw pattern with sheet only. If you are freehanding your art work to pattern draw on regular paper first and then put between tracing paper and tool..Absolutely a fantastic product for pattern tracing onto fabric.

Excited to transfer patterns onto fabrics!!!
I’m so so incredibly glad I found these papers! I embroider and I feel like this is the easiest way to transfer a pattern onto cotton fabric. I’ve never used carbon paper before but it’s incredibly easy.I did a practice run on a random piece of fabric with a random color. I found out that the smaller the stylus you use, the better and more precise. Another thing I noticed was that the waxy part of the paper turns white when you’ve already used that part which I found pretty neat! If you trace with a stylus, you can tell what you’ve already traced from the paper cause it’ll leave a little groove on top of the pattern/ paper. Another bonus is that it can be washed with laundry detergent!! The white circle is where I had a little piece washed off and the star next to it is where I scrubbed with just water which only faded it so if you’re thinking of buying this for embroidery, I say to go for it!!

Doesn't work well to transfer designs to fabric.
My opinion is that this transfer paper can't be used to transfer detailed designs to fabric for embroidery because the design will disappear before the embroidery can be finished. I have been using it to transfer small and simple outlines to embroider. Details are typically no more than simple facial features on animals or color change lines on a flower petal. I mostly transfer to t-shirt fabric. Because of the size of my designs, this large amount of transfer paper will last forever. I am currently in the midst of using a white sheet and a black sheet and have not used up either. I expected the transferred designs to stick around till I washed the fabric. That has not been the case. I have to be extremely gentle with the design to keep it from disappearing and touch it as little as possible. If I needed any more details, I wouldn't be able to use this paper. As it is, I often have to refer to the original picture to figure out where eyes, mouth etc. are supposed to go because they disappear by the time I get to them. Once transferred, the design acts almost like chalk. If it is rubbed too much or the fabric bends a number of of times, the design begins to disappear. My problem has never been getting the design out of the fabric. My problem is keeping it on long enough. I have transferred 10+ designs and continue to face this issue. To make the design transfer darker on the fabric, my recommendation is to only have one layer of fabric on a hard surface and press in a back and forth motion on the design with the stylus so all parts are pressed multiple times. I don't try to reuse the spots on the paper that have already been used.

Yay! Finally!
I bought this to transfer images to cloth and omg it works! I had tried several other things and did not work as good as this. Only thing is make sure you are covering up marks because they will not come off. Awesome price for this many sheets!
