Fluke Networks MT-8200-63A, Intellitone 200 Probe

Great unit a little hard to get to know it but after you do you will wonder how you ever did without it before :-)

Strumento indispensabile per professionisti della rete!Ho acquistato la Fluke Networks Sonda IntelliTone Pro200 (MT-8200-63A) per il mio lavoro di installazione e manutenzione di reti, e sono davvero impressionato dalla sua precisione e affidabilità. Questa sonda è perfetta per localizzare cavi in ambienti complessi, anche in presenza di rumore o interferenze, grazie alla tecnologia IntelliTone che distingue chiaramente il segnale del cavo giusto. L’ho utilizzata in uffici con centinaia di cavi Ethernet e ha sempre individuato quello corretto senza errori.La qualità costruttiva è eccellente, robusta e pensata per un uso intensivo sul campo, e il design ergonomico la rende comoda da tenere in mano per lunghe sessioni di lavoro. Inoltre, la possibilità di alternare tra segnali analogici e digitali è un tocco di versatilità che apprezzo molto. È uno strumento che ha semplificato enormemente il mio lavoro, facendomi risparmiare tempo e fatica. Lo consiglio senza esitazione a chiunque lavori con reti o cablaggi: un prodotto di altissimo livello firmato Fluke!

I get these for all of my techs. They are a little more spendy than the analog units, but for the time savings, it's worth it for me. My techs wouldn't know how to use an analog tracer if they needed to and they complain and cry anytime they have to use one. The main speed advantage of this fluke is the ability to trace the wire and then immediately flip the switch and be able to verify each pair for wiring issues or breaks. I've had to replace a few as the guys are pretty hard on them in the field but like I said, it's worth it. They do have analog built in if needed as well.

A must have basic tool for troubleshooting CATx cable locations. Works with assorted Fluke/Netscout cable toner sources.

If you need a tone wand that will find a signal on cables connected to a switch device, this one is for you. That is what IntelliTone is for. If you never need that, then get a cheaper analog tone wand (This one supports IntelliTone and analog, both). The cable-mapping function is a real time saver--after you have located your cable with the signal in it, plug the cable into the butt of the wand and you can verify that both ends of the cable are pinned out correctly. Keep spare 9V batteries on you, this device eats them. All of our techs are outfitted with the Fluke Microscanner2's and they work great with that tone generator. I have not used the wand with the stand-alone MT-8200-61-TNR, but I assume they would work just as well.
