After years of build up, Koei Tecmo has released the very first footage for Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3! Many gamers share fond memories of the previous iterations, especially the first title, Dead Or Alive Xtreme Volleyball, as this was indeed the reason why some of us originally bought the first Xbox. Notorious in it's promotional material and absolutely unabashed at what this title is about, DOAX3 carries on the tradition of this spin-off by taking the girls of Dead Or Alive and pitting them in a no holds barred beach vacation filled with mini-games designed to showcase the new technological advances of the series. Apparently there is volleyball or something ;) By using the upgraded Soft Engine 2.0 for the PS4 Version (an improved breast engine based off Dead Or Alive 5 Last Round) and the Soft Engine Lite (PS Vita Version), 4 main changes have been made to the character models. New skin shaders give off a realistic and healthy vibrancy, and breast physics have been fine tuned for maximum voluptuousness. As well, game changing booty physics have been fleshed out, along with the fact that no other game contains such realistic tanning. The main stay Camera Mode also returns. There are 9 characters in the roster, selected based on a popularity contest where the results were announced during the Toyko Game Show 2015: Marie Rose, Honoka, Kasumi, Ayane, Kokoro, Nyotengu, Hitomi, Momiji, and Helena Douglas complete the roster, with no plans for DLC. Finally, Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 is a Japanese/Asian Region exclusive, although if a Western release happens, it will be an "adjusted" version. What this actually means though, is highly based on the assumption of censorship; in the meantime, this version is the only sure bet on the original xtreme experience.

Different from the rest
Very quick delivery, package was safe and still wrapped in the plastic. Awesome.This installation of the beach volleyball series is very different from its previous games which isn't bad but definitely a huge change. You're playing as not only one of the women but as the island owner as well, in order to boost any character's friendliness you have to gift as both the owner and selected character, your money has a max limit, and the angles for volleyball are very different. It's a good game and I'm happy to have it for my collection but it's a huge change than what I'm used to from the previous games.

Worth the cost, and the privilege of saying no to STW‘s.
Extreme 3 is what you expect of the spin-off series, it is not quite as in-depth as one was but it definitely surpasses the disappointing second entry in the series.

Good, but very similar to other versions
The good - the game is stunning. Menus and everything are in English, with Japanese voices.The bad - the girls all look pretty much the same. Zack (who owns the island) keeps popping up and he's annoying as hell.The ugly - nothing about this game is uglyI don't know why I keep at this game. I can only play it in short bursts at a time. I played Dead or Alive Paradise on the PSP, and Dead or Alive Extreme 2 on the Xbox 360. This game is the SAME THING. A girl or two has been changed, and of course the graphics are better than on the PSP. But the beach games, the casino, gift system, photographing girls, etc are all the same. If you own a version for the PS4 or Xbox 360, then there's no real reason to buy this unless you absolutely need it on a handheld.

Klare Kaufempfehlung
Das Spiel ist voll mit der deutschen Vita kompatibel. Untertitel und Menüführung sind in englisch. Nur der deutsche Psn Store funktioniert nicht mit dieser Version. Updates werden aber trotzdem automatisch angezeigt und werden auch zum Download angeboten. Grafisch ist das Spiel auf dem gleichen Standart wie Dead vor Alive ultimate für die Vita. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
