I actually bought this for my quaker parrot. I was concerned it might be too big, but he loves it and eats it well. I'm glad to be feeding a high quality food that he loves.

My bird loves this stuff, but specifically the California blend variant and not the regular one. I've tried feeding him other pellets in the past and he wasn't having any of it. I feed him these pellets alongside chop, and a small bit of safflower gold mix, he sure likes it!

Bought this for my IRNs hoping to convert them off of a mostly seed diet to promote cleanliness - Roudybush is a well known product recommended by many Keepers and professionals - I had tried regular crumbles with my cockatiels with little success converting but the IRNs jumped right in and ate this like it was treats not reg food - the addition of the fruits and veggies will keep them nutritionally balanced too - They will still get seed in their diet but this is bound to be their staple from now on UPDATE - I have a special needs African Grey that has had seizures on any mass produced food so I have been cooking for her for years - I tried this food hoping she could tolerate it and is chowing down like she is starving - so far no seizure and normally she has one within hours of eating a food she doesn't agree with - it has been 3 days - knock on wood that she is tolerates long term - I am still cooking for her but this gives her more options!

Like that it is not exclusively pellets but fruits and other good yum yums , however I've been offering small amounts in his treat bowl and a little under 1/2 teaspoon sprinkled in his food , I've had birds for over 30 years ,never had a bird not try especially when they try everything once ,not worth the $18.00 .disappointing to say the least

I've always used Zupreem and my Cockatoo has never complained.. ha ha.. But it's an extruded pellet (very dry) and almost falls to dust when eaten. Roudybush pellets are from a different process and my bird seems to like them fine, and I don't find them in the water dish soaking as much as I did with Zupreem. My only complaint is the pellets tend to be smaller than they should be for a medium sized parrot and the dried veggies in this variety replace almost 1/3 of the pellets in weight. Next purchase will be straight pellet without the extra.. especially due to price.
