King Rocks GF Waterproof Work Boots Men's 6" Boot for Construction with 3M Thinsulate Insulation

Made well. Good looking boot. Yes, it is heavy. I have an foot/ankle injury (CRPS), and it give me great support. Insulated well, and this will likely become my "cold weather" footwear. I think it will be too warm during the summer. I do recommend this boot.

I don't know where to begin about how awesome These Boots Are, between looks how my foot feels and the quality of the craftsmanship is great I already have two pears of Timberland Pros which I do love, but these are definitely my new love. The loops for the laces are incredibly strong as well. Although the boot is a little heavy that's only because it is made so well. I always say when you're buying a pair of shoes when you put your foot in and walk it should feel like they're not even on. If you're looking for a real boot that's a little less expensive than timberlands then this is the boot for you. Just treated them with mink oil and put my toe tip protectors on ready to go....

Bought the boots at the end of June, in the middle of August a mystery squeak came from the right boot. It didn't matter what surface I was walking on sand, concrete, rubber roof, carpet, or grass it would squeak on every step. I'm in my 50's and have been buying boots for years and have never had this happen before. So I got online, and to my surprise, many people have had this problem with a few remedies to try. From putting baby powder in them to vaseline under the inner sole, and nothing worked. Now it's the 1st of September and both now squeak, so I decided to call the maker of the boot to see if they could give me any suggestions on how to fix this every step squeak. Not one time did I say anything about wanting my money back or wanting to exchange them, I wanted these boots to stop squeaking. Seeing how I'm not in the boot business that's why I contacted them, I figured they may know the solution to their boot. The gentleman I spoke with said that he had never heard of this, I wish I could remember his name, and he asked me to take a few pictures of the boots with me pointing to the area where the squeaking sound is coming from. So that's what I did hoping to get a resolution to this issue from someone who makes this boot and has more knowledge about boots than I do. The next day I received an email from Amazon saying that I had broken one of their rules and that I was not to anymore contact with whom I thought sold me the boots. So the boots went in the trash and made a mental note to NEVER EVER buy King Rock boots or any other footwear and help other consumers make an educated desission to do the same.

I absolutely love this boots. I bought hem for performance as my every day work boot working in framing construction and I've had them for a little over two months and I don't regret anything. Let me tell the things that I like the most: 1. Their sturdiness and support: for the boot it self holds your foot and ankle every securely I their padding in the inner sole it's amazing, and that combine with the padding in the outer sole makes it great for waking all day working without feeling tired or felling a great impact in your hell specially . 2. The anti-slip sole: I've been up in the roof of the house and walking walking between trusses and I feel more secure with this boots than with Nike snikers. 3. The waterproofing in this if very good to I've been working in florida rain for short periods of time and they hold my feet nice and dry. On the other hand I don't think they are design to put your hole foot in a puddle and keep it there some time and expect that you'll be totally dry but for regular work under the rain you'll be great.You need to know that they do look big in the outside so when you get them don't freekout (that's what I did first) but when you put them on you'll probably fell them just great, as I did and the performance will be worth it for the little bigger looks. I would absolutely recommend this boots!

I'm not a high-stress boot person, but these get the job done, are comfortable and so far quite durable. Only complaint is they are heavy. When you take them off your feet feel very light and I'm tempted to "march" ;-)

The picture they show has a 3m thinsulate tag on the boot. When it showed up there is nothing on the boot or box that says it's made with 3m. I think It has to have a thinsulate tag on it if its made with 3m products. That's the main reason i bought this boot. I may have got taken. Not sure. I will say the boots are quite comfortable though.

Best boot buy ever!!!Fits perfect, very comfortable and the price was excellent for the product.Have worked construction for over 15 years and never had a boot like the King Rocks!!Some reviews say they are too heavy... But I disagree! Would highly recomened!!!

Love these boots! I dont really use them for a labor job just for me but they are strong,tough, seem very durable,and comfortable. Also like how they look too! Hoping to get a few years outta these.
