I didn't have much depth or width but needed more bookshelf space for books and picture frames. This is an interesting design and fits perfectly. It's not real tall but gives lots of space for books and pictures. It looks nice and is solid once put together. For the money a really great deal. It does take a lot of time to put together and the instructions are OK, but you have to be really careful about getting the boards oriented properly. There are lots of different boards that are very close to the same but have small holes on one end. The directions don't do a great job of calling them out. If you are careful and take your time, you will be ok. Lots of screws, so an electric driver supporting alan type and Phillip heads it will go much faster.

This is the perfect bookshelf for a bedroom, reading nook, or living room! It doesn't stick out from the wall that much, and it can actually fit a ton of books!! It was pretty easy to put together as long as you pay attention to the pictures and how the pieces are oriented in the pictures. The drawers on the bottom are a nice addition, and I love that larger and taller books can go on the middle shelves (or even a small plant or statement pieces). I like the finish of the wood, too. Great bookshelf!

I was impressed when I received this book shelf because the pieces were cut so well and it all fit perfectly together. The end product is beautiful and all of my guests compliment it. I'm even more impressed now that I've moved twice with it and it is just as stable as the day I built it. 10/10.

Purchased this for a library outreach we were doing. After reading many reviews decided to purchase this one. While yes, it will take time to put together (took me about 2 hours), it is not difficult. I found the instructions to be fairly easy to understand. It is quite heavy in the box, so be sure if you are small, to have help. It is rustic and the unusual structure is really neat. I would purchase this item again.

This is a very nice bookshelf. It is very sturdy, does not need to be attached to the wall, the shelves are solid and do not bow at all, and it's a very aesthetically pleasing design. It does come in a ton of pieces and needs a lot of assembly, and while the assembly isn't hard, it does take a long time simply because it's so many pieces, so if assembly isn't your thing, you may want to avoid it, but otherwise, I'd highly recommend it. Be sure to check the actual dimensions listed though. While the listed dimensions are accurate, it is smaller than the pictures make it look as can be seen in the picture (shown next to one of the company's other bookshelves I also ordered in the picture - the other one was horrid in pretty much every way imaginable and needs to be replaced, but this one was great).

The look of this product is very classy.Unlike many do-it-yourself pieces of furniture with unfinished edges that can only be assembled with one side facing out, this item had finished edges all the way around. This saved a great deal of time since I didn't need to figure out front and back directions.I found the directions easy to follow. Each step had a little insert showing how the piece to be assembled fit into the overall finished product.There were extra pieces of hardware and no additional tools were needed for assembly.I'm a 60-year-old grandma, and I had no difficulty putting this together with no assistance.

Easy to assemble, very good quality, absolutely wonderful appearance! It holds books and other items easily and does not take up a lot of space! 10/10

First off, for the love of your sanity, time and hands/fingers DO NOT USE THE ALLEN WRENCH provided. Instead grab a 3mm hex bit to attach to your drill or driver. The drill made the assembly quicker and WAY less stressful. I used a mallet for the last steps, when you have to line up the drawer panel to the bottom with all the dowels. I just did a few light taps at each end to help guide the dowels in place before installing the screws.As far as the product goes, it's light weight and in my carpeted bedroom, it's pretty wobbly. I haven't loaded it up with books yet though. Serves its base purpose and gives the room a nice look.

Smaller than I was expecting even though I did pay attention to the dimensions when ordering. But it was easy to assemble and I like the look of it. Fabric drawers could be sturdier but otherwise, I’m happy with this bookcase

It is a Little wiggly side to side stands perfectly straight up even on carpet. It does come with wall mounted but I didn’t have to use because I don’t have little kids or pets that would try to pull it or climb it. Even if I pull it forward a little it bounces back. This is only to describe the shelf. This would be the bestest option if you are on a budget and can’t spend to much on a book shelf. The finish is shiny which I love. Looks easy to clean and good finish. Not too fond of the colour but for this price its not to bad.

This was really easy to assemble. I'm just a tiny person, and I was able to assemble 2 of these units in aprox an hour by myself (using a drill - it would have taken longer if I used the allen key provided).No missing pieces, everything clearly labeled and simple yet clear instructions.The slats are a little on the thin side, but I don't expect that to be an issue, because the individual pieces aren't very long, so should be able to hold weight without bowing. It's solid and sturdy and looks good. Great value for the price.

Nice looking bookcase. Very happy for $90.Easy to assemble, except the allen key they provide is rubbish, but if you have your own set, you're golden. Their customer support was quick and helpfull as well.

Exactly what I was looking for. The wood tone matched my living room tables in the other part of the room perfectly. It was very easy to put together - 1 person less than 1 hour. Looks great and very pleased!My only complaint would be I wish it was slightly larger!I didn't hook it to the wall even though it came with the required pieces because I felt it was sturdy enough as is. If my collection grows, I will not hesitate to purchase a second one.
