The right tool for the job
Found out the cylinder head bolts on my 04 Audi a4 1.8t were in fact not a t50 torx bit but it takes a t52 torx bit. Ordered this and ofc it’s good quality and is a tight fit in the bolts I definitely recommend you buy this tool, I mean it’s like 10 bucks and is the specific tool you need

Great tool, wish it was a little longer. I could have taken the head bolts out without opening the valve train. But it work well

Tight fit.
Worked great but I had to gently drive it into the bolts. If doing more than just 1 engine it would probably loosen up. But better a little right than loose where it could slip.

Torx +/ribe or standard Torx, know the difference
this is a Torx Plus aka Ribe bit, not to be confused with a standard Torx bit; the main difference being the ribs. this is an M10 bit which I found to be close to the T55 torxa little info on the difference hereTorx v Torx PlusThe Torx Autosert feature guides the driver bit accurately into the recess creating a self-centering engagement action. It was good fitting and worked good. Had used it on a bolt that was mostly stripped from another tool. Thought I would just try tnis new tool before getting out welder and welding in old tool. This new tool got it out no problem.
