Q: I am attaching your weathervane to a roof cupola. Need to make a bracket for attachment. What is the thread type on the bottom of the support rod?

I don't know as I ordered the bracket with the weather vane and attached to the peak of the roof. It came with the bolts. Seems like it was lag type bolt they used about 1 inch long and to fit the hole in your manufactured bracket. Seems like it was about 1/2 inch diameter. Sorry I can't be more help.

Q: The rooster fell off after a few weeks of being installed. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm trying to get in contact with the seller.
