I got this to accompany some guitar players. It's simple, but does what it needs to do. If you're going to be using it for 20-30 minutes at a time, it can be somewhat difficult to keep a good grip on it. It's a good value for the money. Also, several people told me they think it looks cool.

I was looking for a small tambourine to use in my church praise band. My previous tambourine disappeared somehow. Good feel. Adds just enough sound that doesn’t cause feedback with the sound system. Very good.

May be ok for individuals who gently play their tambourines but it will not be durable or strong enough for those who are seasoned tambourine players. I played it for less than 5 minutes and the drum head started to detached from the band that attaches the drum head to the tambourine. The drum head itself may be durable but the band that holds it on the tambourine wasn’t. It was also just a little too light weight for me but for others who are learning how to play or prefer a lighter weight tambourine and plays it gently, it will be fine. I would consider it to be a good tambourine for a beginner. It is sturdy, lightweight and the price is reasonable.
