Goddard's Silver Cleaner Dip, Instant Tarnish Remover, Silver Polish, 1 Gal

This is the best oxidation remover I have ever used. I have been able to clean my silver jewelry to a level I have never been able to before. Be care if using with precious gemstones. I suspect it could be damaging if the item is left in the solution too long. I made sure not to leave any of my gemstones or natural stones in the solution for any length of time.

Dip is right! I dropped a necklace into the solution and bingo it was bright and shiny in less than 30 seconds! I’ve tried others but they don’t compare to Goddard’s. This will be my “go to” from now on. Highly recommended.

It is very good at weakening and removing tarnish. It leaves a residue that looms like raw metal. You still need to polish your silver after using it. You can’t let it pool or sit or it’ll rust the bottom of your bucket. It stinks. It is the stinkiest thing ever. I like to pour it into a heavy duty trash bag and dunk my silver into it Wear gloves!!! It burns your skin

It works but the quantity is small.

My sterling silver jewelry was so dark I almost thought of throwing it out. This product is a miracle. I dipped it in and then It came out with the beautiful silver finish restored.

Game changer if you inherited your mom's silverware and found other products too much work. Just dip a tiny bit of a cotton ball and it will clean off enough utensils for a dinner party!

I used this dip for some scruffy American Silver Eagles. It worked great! Inexpensive compared to other “Dips”, next day delivery too. There is a bit of an odor, no worse than a dainty fart. They looked like they had been buried in a salt mine. They were scratched, dinged and poorly stored. I know better than to dip collector coins. The ASEs, I save as bullion and are pretty common.

Simple, old fashioned and very effective.

It’s a perfect cleaner for silver jewelry. Removes tarnish from silver easily and fast, specially from hard to clean areas. The downside is the silver is not as shiny but I use a polishing silver cream and soft cloth to buff it and silver looks amazing. Overall I recommend this product and definitely will purchase again.

This stuff is great! Just dip and rinse your sterling in the solution. Gets in all the cracks and crevices. Take you're silver cloth to the item to get a high lustre. So easy, no scrubbing needed. I have used this for years and then could not located in my regular stores. Was down to the last 1/2 ounce when I located it on Amazon.

The original and the best. A dip for 20 seconds restored your silver jewellery.

Received the item leaking and not even given the option to return or replace, be wary.
