Our sons' rescue dog Zeus is nervous during storms and fireworks. The vest really helps calm him. He loves it, it really works. When we first put it on he looked so proud, nice to know it has a purpose besides looking good.

Not even rating the additional items... This is better than the major brand. I had one of those in the past and it had zero compression because the material wasthin and too stretchy. This vest is thick and stretchy. It hugs my dog. I can't say how well it works because I ordered it during a strange wind storm that was freaking my dog out and of course that storm was over before this arrived.What I like about this is the thick material that will hold up to my big dogs wrestling. Three velcro strips evenly spaced across his torso for a full body compression hug. True to size. I measured my dog and found the best balance of his measurements and it fits great.I have mixed feelings on the velcro because when I have it lose on him, the course hook portion can rub his belly. That being the mixed part because the length of the velcro helps keep it evenly snug when he needs it. I believe that since he's been wearing it for days that that portion has gathered enough lint to soften it.I know many will be alarmed at his wearing it for days, so let me explain. My dog loves wearing stuff, collars, harnesses, and now a sort of shirt. So based on what he likes, I decided that he can wear it and I tighten it up for compression when I think he could use the extra comfort. If I need to leave for most of the day, I snug it up and release it when I get home. I'll wash it on his bath days and to help preserve it with frequent washings, I will hang it to dry.It's a good value and he rather likes his snazzy new outfit.

I used this vest for my dog during thunderstorms. He is very afraid of the loud sounds. I did notice a reduction in his agitation. As long as he is near me and wearing his vest he seems more comfortable. It is hard to tell if the vest, aromatherapy, or music is what is working, but at least I know he is not as distressed. I did have to turn off the music after a short while because the same short tune over and over again made me feel a little agitated even if it was soothing sounds. lol However, you don't have to use the music box if you don't want to add it to the vest.

This fit my dog as expected and was easy to put on. I used it after her spay surgery when her anxiety skyrocketed. It took a combination of things to help her and this was one piece.

I had really high hopes for this product before the 4th of July since our dog has a lot of anxiety when the fireworks go off. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to keep him calm as he ended up pushing his way into the house.I believe if this had been a heavier weighted material it may have helped to calm him down. I do appreciate all of the bells and whistles that this came with and I do believe that for some dogs with less anxiety this may be something to help.He also didn't dislike the fit. He doesn't typically like to wear anything but it was easy to get on and after it was on he walked around trying to get used to it for a little bit and eventually was fine.Pros:Comfortable fitFlexible and mobile for the dogsBreathable fabric and not too hotElegant lookingLots of options to calm the dog with the scented charms and the different melodies.Cons:Lightweight and not heavy like a weighted blanket

I sent this to my kids for their dog Jack (my grand dog) who absolutely goes bananas over thunder and gets separation anxiety if they have to leave him in his crate for very long. The vest was easy to put on him, and he appears to like the sound box and nice fragrance. He was calm and happy to see them after trying it, instead of having the hollering heebie jeebies and trying to climb their frames when they returned. I think this was money well spent.

I needed a new thunder jacket and my previous one was the name brand. Seems equally as durable and weight about the same maybe a bit more breathable fabric. Costing more than twice as much. This fabric is equally as comfortable and good. Soft stretchable nicely made the Velcro in the right places. It’s also a bit longer which is great I have a corgi. But fits my pug also. The dog doesn’t like the music on him but it just fits in a pocket and is still a useful thunder jacket. The scent thing comes with 2 scents so 2 thunder storms? Again use bottled scents on cotton but it is a little metal holder you can easily leave off and have a great useful product.

Got this for my 7 month old puppy because he's scared of everything. His anxiety is pretty extreme(won't go outside alone, hides anytime people are over). I think it's helped a lot, especially for the small things like unexpected noises or neighbor dogs barking.Quality still seems good, he's been wearing it around off and on for a week with no issues.I haven't tried the extras that come with it, just the vest.The only semi-complaint I have is that the Velcro sticks to the carpet, you can see from the pictures he ended up dragging a door mat around with him :)

Tengo una border collie muy nerviosa, la pirotecnia y la lluvia la ponen extremadamente nerviosa.El chaleco le ayudo bastante, está notoriamente más tranquila, con la caja musical no pone tanta atención en los ruidos que la alteran y el aroma la relajó muchísimo, lo recomiendo. Es claro que no hará milagros pero es de gran ayuda, es un excelente material y aprieta muy bien su estómago para sentirse segura.

I ordered these (two) for a friend's dog as a gift. I was so excited. These were early Christmas presents, but I decided to give her them for the November fireworks. One box was damaged, and one had no box at all. I couldn't give them to her; they looked like a charity shop find. They looked well made. The idea is lovely, but this seller needs to improve her/his presentation skills. It was an insult to send something like this to a customer.

The media could not be loaded. Es muy buen chaleco para apoyar con la ansiedad, sin embargo la tela es muy delgadita y se va haciendo fea con el uso. A mi perro si le gustó la música y también le puse la aromaterapia, aunque no sé si funcionó también.
