Barbie quality has gone downhill since I was a child
I used to have tons of barbie dolls as a child. I passed mine down to my daughter. I decided to buy my daughter some of her own too. I was very thrown back at the quality of them compared to when I was a young girl. They're now very lightweight, the legs don't feel sturdy as before (they were rubbery before now they're flimsy plastic that cannot bend) the hair also comes out easily. They're lovely looking dolls, I love the different body types, height, skin colours, hair colours aspect of them but the quality needs improving bigtime. The ken that I bought her looks like he's stuck doing the mexican wave. I'd still buy my daughter more of these if she likes them, if my daughter is happy with them then I'm happy, but I am still shocked lol
