At first I was a bit sceptical having had similar traps before that failed to lock due to the plastic bases being distorted ! But these are very sturdy and have had no issues with them .Initially I put four down using cheese and in the first day trapped 3 , but one dissapeared so I’ve now mounted them on wood .I can throughly recommend them and have bought another 4 and already I’ve got number 6 trapped .

These rat traps looked really sturdy and brutal when you set up except rats managed to get the chocolate off without the traps getting them as it’s just placed in the trap not skewered like some mouse traps you can get so unfortunately didn’t work for us

Only 3 work out of the 4, 1 just won't latch and set. Otherwise the working ones have been working great

Perfect for problem in attic. Big enough size to catch large rodents. Easy to use and reset to use again.

Bit much for a mouse but works on mice rats ( squirrel came in ) so yeah works but feel guilty for the squirrel but it was a grey and thousands round here

I had 3 rats escape from this. It should work for mice, but it is not strong enough to kill an adult rat. Other than that, it is very easy to set up.

You must be careful with these or they'll break your fingers..we've caught a few rats with these..mind we have found them gone off without catching anything too.

We have a rat problem locally and I have had to resort to traps. Of the four traps here, two set ok, one was hard to set (sprang itself very, very easily) and the fourth wouldn’t set at all, the clip wouldn’t hold the spring down. I threw it away.
