## Questions & Answers

**Q: If anyone upgraded from gx85, can you tell me the improvements you found meaningful? in other words, is there $300 more value over gx85?**
A: I had a GX85 and enjoyed using it, but I like the GX9 better for several reasons. First, there is a focus lever switch that is perfect for quick selection of auto or manual focus. Second, I have the optional eyecup installed on the GX9 which makes using the EVF pleasant as compared with trying to peek through the small fixed EVF on the GX85. Third, I think the color rendition of JPEG is better---the reds and blues really pop. Finally, the power switch is moved away from the mode dial on the GX9. I don't know how many times I inadvertently turned my GX85 off when adjusting the mode dial, because the switch surrounded the dial. The exposure dial on the GX9 does seem stiff at first, but I learned to use more of the side of my thumb instead of the tip, and it makes adjustment easier. Overall, the GX9 is a great camera, and I would definitely give it the nod over the GX85.

**Q: My last mft was the gf1, are there any downsides to upgrading to the gx9 besides it using different batteries?**
A: it is like changing from toyota corolla to camry

**Q: Does the lens come with a lens hood**
A: Yes

**Q: Can this camera fit into a pants pocket?**
A: I purchased the Lumix 20 mm, 1.7 fixed lens, and the eye view on the back of the camera, and with the lens cap on, it is 2 7/8 - 3" thick...I can slide it in a jacket pocket, or loose fitting dockers style slacks pocket.
