Great when tethered to smartphone, compatible with Strava
Easy to install, but somewhat cumbersome to set up because everything needs to be done through the smartphone - which you would think would make it easier, but they buck the UI convention including not respecting the "back" button in Android, so the app is a bit of a kludge.Heart monitor works very well, extremely similar to NordicTrack's heart sensor, however I would prefer the ability to link my Galaxy Watch with it and use that instead because it is too easy to forget to remember to put the sensor on, and is equally easy to remember to take it off. This is probably less of an issue for men than for women since it just feels like a bra, so I often forget I have the sensor on after a ride.Tracking functionality without tethering to a smartphone is limited. I'd also like to be able to, again, sync it with Strava on my LTE smartwatch so I can leave my phone behind, or even have a Cateye app for the Galaxy watch. The backlight works well, but the screen is rather small for the layouts I like; focusing while riding when I have a 7-element grid is dang near impossible. I resort to using a frame bag to mount my phone and view that display, with the obvious drawback of screen timeouts, draining the battery, and potentially overheating the phone on hot days. The backlight feature is appreciated though; I think I am going to resort to a simplified 3-field or 2-field view, and just monitor items like distance, cadence, and so on, via the phone app.I docked one star because of the limited functionality and inability to configure without the smartphone.

Don't Let the Cat Eye out of the Hat!
At first, I've read the instructions 5 times to make sure I understood what needed to be done. Once I have gone through the process, the rest is easy. You need to be patient with the new set up. I nailed it for the first time and now I'm loving my new cycle computer! Boy, Cateyes technology sure has been amazingly lately.. Very accurate and the mileage is on the "marks".

Not a fit for a Gravity FSX 1.0
Unit was not compatible with my Gravity FSX 1.0 Bike swing arm as it is curved. Seller was fast and prompt giving me a full refund.

Excellent computer
Once mounted, and figured out how to use (video directions helped), this is proving to be the best bike computer I’ve had in 40 years of biking. Has all data on 1 screen with easy download to iphone

Cateye Cyclocomputer.
Cateye is not what it used to be! Not happy. Garbage. Save your money. Get a gps app for your phone and a mount. It will at least be programmable easier.
