Bought this security locking hardware for an apartment community I work at because people always bump into the artwork on the walls or youth feel like they should touch them. These hangers are a fantastic tool. The pictures now move minimally and can not be bumped by accident crooked. We love them. The only downfall is that the instructions are hard to understand for a person who does not have any knowledge of putting things together--you kindof have to be able to visualize it is your head because there is no diagrams and it literally is a 2 inch by 3 inch instruction pack per hardware set; however, if you have a maintenance man that is good at fixing things--he can figure it out--no problem! Thank God for Handy Men!

Using this to mount a mirror for my infant son to look at. I don't have to worry about him pulling it down/off.

These are the best security hangers I've purchased. They were actually recommended to me by a maintenance staff at the Marriott. Living in California, earthquake country, these are a must have.I found the instructions easy to understand and easy to implement (I am not a professional handyman but, I am an experienced DIY handyman). I used these security hangers to mount some relatively large pictures. Once the pictures were mounted, they were definitely solidly attached to the wall.The nice thing about these hangers is that the pictures will always stay level, the natural house settling and movement will not tilt the pictures mounted with these hangers. If your pictures or items are on a wall in an active living space or with children, you will not have to worry about them falling off the wall and hurting someone, once they are properly mounted.

I could not get the wrench into the slot and on the head of the T screw so I didn't use it. Instead, I used the same bracket top and bottom and put a Phillips head screws in. The bottom screw is exposed below the picture but does lock the picture in place.

Okay LOVE this for hanging art over nursery crib! Everything is well bolted down and not going ANYWHERE. I did hire a handyman to install it all though since it is VERY labor intensive to use this hardware and does require a lot of measuring, drilling, leveling, etc. It's a bit of over kill for your average wall art BUT for nurseries it's a great safety feature.

I purchased the security hanger hardware packet to be used on some nice paintings we purchased to have in our business lobby. The pictures are now up using the security hardware and all the paintings all very secure to the wall. I would definitely recommend these security bracketts if someone is worried that someone might walk off with one of their art pieces. These security bracketts won't guarantee somehting can't be taken off the wall but it would definitely be more difficult to do.

Bad execution of a good concept... the wrench provided is the problem. The wrench was too thick to fit into the bracket once attached to the picture frame. Ground it down and then it was too wide to fit in and turn the T bold. Ended up grinding a wrench profile that works. Enclosed photo of what came with kit, and what had to be done to make it work.

Hardware sets shipment arrived on time. Packaging are very good. I am a handy man and used these products lots of times so I know how the products performed. They were flawless. Thanks. Recommend to use this products by everyone.
