Autopoint 4-in-1 Metal Cased Pen, contains Black Ball Pen, Red Ball Pen, Blue Ball Pen and 0.5mm Pencil (44210)

This is the best multi-pen there is out there, period. I use it every single day to take notes in my classes, and I purchased several ink refills from Private Reserve (the size of the ink refills is 635) so I now have black, red, blue, and green (I replaced the pencil with a green pen). That way all my notes are color-coded and outlined beautifully, and makes studying them later on incredibly easy.One thing about these pens is they can be easy to lose, and may slip out of pants pockets when sitting down. I ended up ordering a second one after losing my first one (which I recently found) and the one con to these is that the barrel grip quality can be somewhat inconsistent. My first pen has a much better barrel grip whereas the second one has a few very minor flaws in it.I never leave anywhere without this, and have used it on countless occasions.

when I received this pen, I loved the look of it, the feel of it, and the balance. The mechanical operation felt a little loose, and the pen rattled a bit (not sure how much of that can be fixed with a 4-in-1 pen), but I was excited to make it my regular writing utensil. On day three, having used it about 6 times, the click mechanism wasn't working, and so I investigated. The pencil barrel inside the pen housing had somehow been bent or twisted, or wedged, or otherwise not usable, which made the rest of the components not usable. I'm a tinkerer, and couldn't figure out how to open it up to investigate before I just decided to return it. I'll probably try a replacement, but if this one broke after three days, I don't know if the next one will be much more reliable.

I've tried all the multi pens out there including ones much more expensive than this one (Lamy, Parker) and cheaper plastic ones from Office Depot. For the price, there is none better. This is the best of them all. The brushed aluminum case is very high quality. The cross hatched grip area make it easier to grip and write.

Affordable, and well built. I really only bought it to see how it was built, and performed. Surprisingly it was better than I was expecting. I actually ended up buying another to ghive as a gift.

Everyone at work has already tried to borrow it. No wayBut after only a week, the pencil mechanism broke, and is no longer usable. It is typical of these types, the pencil is of lower quality than a true mechanical pencil.I have never had a 3 or 4 way pen where the pencil mechanism didn't break within the first couple of months.

This pen was awesome until it broke 2 weeks after use.

The metal barrel is nice, and it wrote well, but inside the cap is a cheap, flimsy white plastic plunger, which broke within 2 weeks of purchase, rendering it useless. I contacted Autopoint. They said they would replace it, but they never did. Disappointing.
