Works just fine
I've used both these and Gulp's small blood worms and even though I do get bites from the maggots, I've had significantly more success with the worm version. One thing I do like about the maggots, is that you get a massive amount of them in the jar. I don't think I'll finish this jar for a very, very long time. These are best used for panfish. So far, I've caught mostly green sunfish with these.TLDR: they work great, but not as good as the blood worm variant

Ditching the corn for maggots
I am mostly a kokanee fisherman. I fussed with home cured corn using Pautzke products. It works, but shelf life is limited and had to re-cure when they went soft. Am not an expert so maybe I wasn't doing it right. Decided to switch to Gulp maggots fixed with Pro-Cure garlic plus and/or Krill. So easy to use and no refrigeration required (but I do anyway). Mid August here and fishing was slow. Not so when I tried this. Limited out on Rainbow and got doubled up on Kokanee X2. This is my go-to bait now.
