Little Tikes Turtle Round Sandbox, Kids Sandbox

This is a brilliant little sandbox. My 1 year old grandson LOVES it. You will need 2 bags of 50 lbs play sand that you buy in a hardware store for $7 per bag. NOT on amazon at $30 per bag.

Love! Little smaller than I remember, but very sturdy and delivered very quickly! Buy your sand at Lowe’s for $4.58, not online! We used three 50lb bags, but I think two would’ve been fine! Has little feet ledges to sit on and held me, so it’s sturdy, but easy to move around and there’s zero assembly. Very light when empty.

Lid is loose and light, can be blown or knocked off. Lid is hunter green while bottom is vibrant green, sunlight can be seen through the plastic bc plastic is thin, not as thick as the turtle sandbox I grew up with. Very lightweight, slightly flexible. Only 2 seat areas, not 4. Shown w my 2.5 yr old 24lbs and near 3ft tall, you can see she takes up most of the sandbox. Kids over 3 or 4 yrs won't fit in at all. I feel like 20 or 25 bucks would be a better price point, I paid 35 and the next week the price went up to 56! Overpriced.Edit--changed to 5 star after we had 60mph winds and lid stayed on. No fading yet either, has held up very well to rough play. Surprisingly sturdy.

I bought this for my one year old son for his birthday because he loved the sand at the beach. Well it came in great condition but we never put sand in it lol we actually used it as a little pool for him while we were cleaning and getting are in ground pool ready. He loved it.

Bought for the great grandchildren - was pleased that it is still the same as we bought the grandchildren! Just big enough for 1 to 2 children. The cover protects the sand & toys from the weather and from cats seeking a litter box! Really cute!

Cute sandbox

It’s a lot smaller than I expected and it’s very light. I left it on my porch without the lid and before I put in the sand. After a few hours of staying in the sun, there was a huge bump in the middle; i was able to press it with my hand but it still comes back. It looks waved. It’s only April, so the sun is not particularly strong. It Is not worth more than $30.

nice size, really for only one child. top is different color from bottom. takes two 25 lb. bags of sand.
