Import Tooling Leather 8-9oz Pre-Cut by Sepici (4-6 SQFT)

This was my first time making leather crafts. I was very pleasantly surprised at the great quality of the leather I received. This was 8-9oz goods…very clean and vegetable tanned. I would buy from this supplier again.

Nice leather for pyrography.

Uniform and clean surface. Takes dye and tooling well. Flesh side too fuzzy to successfully burnish.

Got these for a leather project, just be ready to do some work cause this leather is TOUGH. Recommend really opening up any holes you are going to be using for threading before you glue or start to sew. Took color really well.

The media could not be loaded. I've ordered here several times before and was always pleased, but my last two orders, well one was about half the size and maybe 5-6 oz. Not the 9-10 oz I've been receiving. The other piece was 5-6 oz at most and had a brand, 3 long scares and several smaller ones. I expect a few scares and maybe a brand sometimes but this was really bad.

Decent piece of leather I’ve ordered the 4-5 sq ft a few times. Haven’t been disappointed yet. Thickness varies last order was right at 10 oz. I’m not complaining it works great for knife sheaths/holsters

I've been buying leather from a few places and have stopped doing that. IF you are going to be crafting a lot buy from reputable business. Like Sepici Bros has a website for larger orders called Leatherplan.com . What most places wont tell you is what they can't sell to companies and cobblers they sell to the individual small time crafter.I ordered a piece prior to this that was very excellent. The piece I received recently could not be used for anything. I just used if for making templates. So I gave 2 stars as there is no consistency when placing orders. One piece is good then the next is sponge and tons of marks and creases. I don't want to discourage anyone from buying. You get good leather but I would encourage you to return and ask for a replacement if you get a bad piece.If you're going to sell leather with large marks, sponge areas and crease sell it at a discount.

Quality leather, mine was blemish free. Thickness / weight was as described. Cut was such that I can get several belts or straps off one side. Quite a number of other projects can be made from the rest. Will order again.

My hide came with a few marks and dents but nothing major. I made a pretty cool gun holster for my airsoft. Overall pretty happy
