Great!
What can I say these are great and work on both new Tama stands and some older Pearl stands.

Very good product
Very convenient and make set up and tear down go much quicker when gigging. I tend to bash my crashes pretty hard and these little guys have held up great and never back off.

Very useful product to keep your cymbals on their stands.
I like the convenance of set up and break down of my set up . I wish they were a little better value due to the fact that they are plastic but that's TAMA.

Better than others
I'll preface this by stating I'm not generally a fan of Tama for reasons not related to the quality of their products, but admitted prejudices I have because of some of the people I've known who used their products. That said, I wanted some quick-release cymbal nuts to make set-up break-down easier. I admitted tried the ones from Pearl first, and was disappointed. These came highly recommended from different online drummer forums, and I can see why. They are easy to use, and I have not had any problems with them. Perhaps they are worth the hype -- and the price.

About Half Worked Well During Extended Playing Sessions
First off, this product arrived on time, but one out of the 3 packages was taped closed, which was undesirable for new products. My History & Experience With The Product(s):I have been a drummer for approximately 20+ years, I am not a heavy hitting stick splintering musician by any means, but I am not afraid to give the cymbals extra voice when called for. In addition, I have utilized many percussion accessories over the years and few have enticed me to write a review on them since most products are straight forward, simply constructed, and do what they say. As such, I recently purchased 12 of the TAMA QC8B4 Quick-Set Cymbal Mates (3 packs of 4) for all of my trusty Tama Acoustic Drum Kit cymbals. Let me be blunt, I have always been a Tama fan, I even have their newest double bass iron cobra power glide pedal and many, and I mean many, other Tama products; however, these Cymbal Mates are... disappointing. Even with the felt spacers/etc/etc and after double checking the installation with product videos, only half appear to work as advertised during initial setup. Worse yet, over long extended playing sessions, and unfortunately at a recent show, most start to fail in one way or another. The most common issue I have experienced is the cymbal mates continuously shimmy little by little up the threads of the stand until they ultimately pop off and roll across the floor. Sadly, at our recent show, I felt I had to continuously check to make sure each cymbal mate was secured where I initially installed them, most... were not. In truth, I feel this shimmying issue is a result of the plastic internal locking threads and the weak spring locking mechanism itself vibrating and releasing open upon each hit. As mentioned, half appear to work... fine, but I honestly had higher hopes for these. Originally I bought them for gigs, but after 2 fell off during a show, I realized I needed to go back to the original hardware, at least during gigs... which again... is disappointing and defeats the purpose of the purchase.Out of curiosity, after their failure on my Tama Acoustic Drum Set, I decided to attempt utilizing them on my Alesis Digital drum kit for fun since it has similar threads as my acoustic stands and since they require much less striking force to trigger the cymbals. Sadly, that proved just as bad, if not worse.Lastly, I am currently letting my buddy (who mainly plays light jazz) utilize some on my Cymbal Mates on his Pearl kit and he has experienced the same shimmying issues on his stands. Conclusion:In theory, the cymbal mates are a great concept, and with a metal internal thread and a stronger spring locking mechanism, I am sure they'd do the trick. However, for this drummer of 20+ years, these products proved unreliable. Original I thought perhaps the package that arrived with tape had faulty cymbal mates, but more than 4 cymbal mates were malfunctioning, so I don't believe this is the case. As such, if you are considering purchasing this product... they sometimes work on Tama stands, they sometimes work on Pearl stands, and they don't work well on Alesis stands. Therefore, since I cannot trust these products to do what I purchased them to do, I have to give them 2 stars... which hurts as a Tama fan. Again, the theory is there, the solid construction... isn't.I hope this review helps.PS: Tama, please make these with internal metal threads and a stronger spring mechanism, then they might be perfect.

No issues whatsoever...
I am curious about the negative reviews regarding these flying off. I have them on three different drum sets and five different types of stands. Yamaha, Tama, Gibraltar, Crush, and CDP. I frequently trade cymbals around the sets as the drums are retuned and as when there are gigs, depending on the type of venue - different cymbals and setting up and tearing down. After five years I haven't encountered this issue at all. They are simple, easy to use, make for fast changes, and don't detract from the cosmetics of the drums. Maybe our styles of playing are greatly different. I would recommend these as wing nut replacements and also keep a few spares, not because of breakage or loss, but because I can lay them down and walk off...Duh!

Work great for my Roland cymbals!
Purchased this 4 pack of Tama cymbal clips. They work great on all three of my Roland cymbals on my VAD506 kit. I have beat my cymbals for the last few days and haven’t had any issues with them. I read some other reviews about them popping off when you hit the cymbal hard but I tested it and cannot replicate. Perhaps if you have them really tight and your cymbal is stiffer than the dead it might pop off but let’s be honest. That’s on you. Loosen up! 🤘

Just OK
The concept is great, squeeze the side buttons or twist on the device to the cymbal stand threads. To take it off, simply squeeze the buttons and pull it off. It saves a lot time and makes tear down super quick or swapping out for other cymbals. Where it falls short, in some case if the cymbal is struck too hard and as it sways up and down, it can pop off the device or loosen it. Also some of the cymbal sleeves on the stands are too long and makes it difficult to fasten the device far down enough on the thread to stop the excessive swaying of the cymbal, leading to potentially popping the device off or loosening as mentioned before.

Cumple lo que promete
Ahorra tiempo a la hora de armar, aunque tuve que esperar a que bajara el precio, que por lo general lo considero elevado para lo que es

What a great product!!!
A must-have for drummers! I swear by these little lifesavers now! They go on and off with ease, a very secure fit and they are well-built, not cheap or flimsy. Some other are bright pink, too, which I'm not particularly fond of. These are a major time saver when you are setting up and tearing now, especially when you're doing it several times a day. At almost $12 each at most stores I've looked at, this 4 pack is also a real steal. Have already ordered another set to have in my accessories kit. Thank you TAMA for a super-practical and useful product! Fast shipping, too!

Love them
These are the best cymbal quick release units out there. Much easier and faster than the Pearl model. Nothing quick about those. I have 8 of these. Spring tightness is just right. Enough to keep the unit on the stand and does not damage the threads. Fully recommended. Looks great as well !
